## This was an idea from last week
<div class="pull-right">https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/grapthar/23tSL9prFTDswD3MYYjDn6w9UjnQ3g8AAFiK6Vo6UaKp8awimtFF6y9Tz4z8LTXv7QuZJ.png<center><b>Track 2, Buzzy ROLI Synth Bass</b></center></div><div class="text-justify">which initially was a lot simpler, and I liked, then I added way too many layers, and put it aside, intending to revisit it fresh a few days later.  But I forgot, and moved on, but I'm going to go back tonight and cut out all kinds of stuff, try and make it more like the original concept.  This was supposed to a sort of floaty, spacey thing, where parts would come in and out, with little weird twinkles and sounds bouncing around, but wound up being sort of a confusing layered mess, haha.  I had started with Track 1, an 808 from '808 Warfare' and Track 2, a ROLI synth bass which has that really buzzy, grinding sort of timbre.  This bass outlines our root notes of the chords, an Emin and an Fmaj, with a slight change in the Blue section where we move from Cmaj to C#min.  I still like this progression, and will keep that general idea, but I think the Emin to Fmaj part repeats too much, so maybe some other third part to add some variation.  I also think Track 2 needs to drop out sometime, cause it just keeps going and going and going, haha.  Track 3 is another ROLI sound, this a spacey piano, which has a cool timbre, but the progression is weird.  I was trying to have it feel a little random, but the repetitions immediately get rid of that vibe, so I'll probably just delete the MIDI clips, and start something new with it.</div>

## Tracks 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 are all sort of pad/string sounds

I like the sounds generally, but again, thing the whole idea here isn't right, so we'll see, but I have a feeling most of these parts will be replaced, using the same instruments.  Track 9 was the first drum track, which was a Nerve loop, where I played around with the 'Late' setting, which allows you have notes play early/late.  I sort of envisioned this just fading in once and back out again, along with the other tracks, but that isn't what happened here yet.  So, I'll find some way to use this, but it DEFINITELY won't repeat like an actual drum pattern as it does here.  Tracks 9-13 all add other drum/percussion sounds, including a snare I pitched down and timpanis.  All of this is going bye-bye.  Finally, I added a bass in Track 14, as I was just playing around with the new LABS bass sound.  Maybe this instrument will stay, add some effects, play something different.</div>

## Overall, I don't love all the additions, but I think somewhere in there is a nugget of an idea I will dig.  So we'll see where it goes tonight!
