Steem pass recovery

After registering through Facebook I logout and login again in Steemit account , and now I can not remember the password . Who faced such problem and knows how to solve it , please leave the information for new users caught in a similar situation . Also , please explain for gifted importance following error occurs when you try steemdown: Account registered by another account requires 10x account creation fee worth of Steem Power before it can power down

you're responsible for your password, it's like a key. if you lose it, you're out of luck.

We are working on solutions for password recovery by linking your account to at least 3 friends.  But it sounds like if you forgot your password so quickly it probably wouldn't have helped your case.

I highly recommend using a password manager.
