Devotion Today : The Conclusion

**Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.**

Life is beautified by our duties or responsibilities in this physical world. It's amazing to know your duties, but rewarding to carry it out effectively.

From the foundation of the world, God laid out our responsibilities as long as we are born into the world as humans. First, we have to fear the Almighty God.

To fear here connotes reference, worship and absolute surrender to His eternal authority over our lives. No man has ever fulfilled his destiny without fearing God.

In fact, the more we fear God, the more bold we become in facing the issues of life, for the fear of God springs up the boldness of a lion in us, for this is the heritage of the righteous.

Brethren, we have to obey God's commandments secondly. To say we fear God but don't do what He says is to make ourselves hypocrites.

His commandments is love and He that loves has fulfilled all the laws of God(Gal5:14).

It's expedient to consciously guide against the pride of life and the lust of the flesh that fight against our desire to fear and obey God.

Let us make our walk with God rewarding by referencing and obeying Him completely.

**Let's pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the privilege to be yours. Please forgive us in areas we haven't lived in total surrender to you. Help us to live in love, in Jesus name. Amen.**
