Spring Is Here and Time To Sow Seeds
This year is no different from others. April started and it is now time to sow some seeds in the soil. Here in Estonia, the weather is still too cold to do it outside so I first need to do inside. Days are mostly on the + side but some nights get really cold and will kill the plants. When the time is right and plants are germinated then I will replant them outside.

This time I bought some seeds that I have never grown before and didn't even know about these plants. Of course, I also planted some regular spring onions because my girlfriend got some from work. The photo is from 3 days ago and now some of them are already larger.

For other green pots, I have the flowers I bought. 
1. Californiavalmue
2. Red Coneflowers
3. Red Sunflower

For each plant, there are 2 pots and I hope that no seed fails. As of right now I can see nothing yet, gotta keep that soil wet at all times.

I did also buy a new cactus because I'm a fan of them, quite bad at raising them tho. 90% of them are dead after half a year and I don't know what I do wrong.

This is a flat ear cactus and looked interesting to me so I bought it. On the sheet, it says that it needs watering once a week but I'm a bit afraid of overwatering it, cactuses don't need much water in general. I will probably spray it lightly today, I don't know when it was last watered in the store.

I hope that these "ears" don't fall off, connecting points look so fragile.

Happy to see another plant lover in the guild. We are just now sowing seeds for string beans, dino kale, cherry tomatoes, and serrano peppers... and amazingly our onion grass and parsley made it through the freezing conditions of a New York City winter. Best of luck with your seedlings!

Yeah, otherwise there will be not enough time for them to grow if I plant them in may outdoors.
