# Hello dear friends!

This post is the first of a new series where you will be introduced to one underground techno record label every friday. Coupled with @uwelang's awesome idea of creating a #technofriday tag, it will serve to populate Steemit with more quality underground techno (music).

# Introducing Different Is Different Records

A techno record label started in São Paulo, Brazil in 2010. Nowadays based in Barcelona, Spain.  With almost 150 releases to the date of this article, the label has focused on coupling the raw talent of the less known techno producers with the refined talent and expertise of established acts.

# What's next?

Different Is Different Records has several releases lined up for summer 2018, including a **new remix release of Ken Ishii's Malfunction Manipulation,** which will feature revamped versions by The Lady Machine, @misselectric, Elias the Prophet and other mystery guests. 

There's an upcoming release by British techno wonder boy Newks called '[Three Towns](https://music.didrec.com/r/newks-three-towns/9514)', including three original dirty and pounding techno tracks.
