Splinterlands is acting a little glitchy this morning. The last 4 matches I started have all ended in a surrender. Fortunately, I was give the victory in 3 of the matches, so FREE DEC! Yay! So, since I can't complete my daily quest I figured this was a good time to post my Season 54 report card and see how it stacks up to previous seasons.

I made it into Diamond league, Tier 1 this season, which is my goal every season. And every season I hope to once again make it into Champion league, but reality slaps me hard and I realize, I just don't have the cards for Champion league.
For the first time ever, my Win/Loss ratio was below 1.00 which means I had a loosing record this season. On the bright side I had 152 match wins compared to last seasons 111. That's a 37% increase in the number of victories in one season.

With a loosing Win/Loss ratio in match play, it's not surprising that none of my summoners had a stand out record this season. Lyanna Natura had a particularly tough time of it this season. Normally she is one of my better performing summoners, but she got badly abused this season.

I think the most interesting items in the monster usage section is that Lord of Darkness had the highest Win Rate at 66.67% in 18 battles. I don't use him a lot, but obviously when I do send him into battle, he wins a majority of the time.

Reward Chests: 0 Gold Foils, 0 Legendaries. However, I did receive 3 Epic cards and 4034 DEC from chests this season. That's a big step down from last season Reward Chests, but still isn't too bad.
Now let's take a look at DEC won from 152 ranked match wins. Total of 15,547 DEC! That's more than double last seasons 7,198! That's what made this season so fantastic. As long as the DEC drop rate stays high, playing ranked matches is going to pay very well.

Now that the first full season of the new rental system is in play I see that my total rentals for the season made me a net 3221 DEC. That's a very nice sum for a side gig and should increase even more this season as I continue to put more of my unused cards up for rent.
Splinterlands has really been on fire lately. I'm seeing lots of new faces in matches and they are powerful players. Even though I'm having a harder time winning matches and advancing up the ladder, I'm glad to see these new players come on board. I keep thinking how they will be buying up all the items I'll be making in my vast land holdings once Land is released. I sure hope it's soon!
