Welcome to all readers be it new or old! This article this time is not about a gameplay if you are wondering. But I will be talking about one of the most important things in Axie Infinity that people seem to have ignored. Collecting! To make it clear, I am not talking about Origin, Meo, Mystic, and other limited Axies. What I am talking about is the rarity of the card set that an Axie has. So far, people have been purchasing Axies for the sake of PVP and Breeding. Other than collecting limited Axies, it seems that people do not check the rarity of their own Axies.
If you have read my previous article, I have showcased each of my Axies, their roles in my team and their cuteness. But at that time, I have yet to know of an amazing tool created by Axie.Tech namely the [Axie Pricing Calculator]( https://axie.tech/axie-pricing). It has the simple use of showing the estimated value of an Axie and its rarity. However, the current pricing in the calculator seems to be not working properly currently. It only shows the value of the Axie when it was last purchased not the value of the Axie based on the card set. Confusing? Then let us go to the main use of the tool for me, checking **RARITY**. The tool shows the amount of players that own the Axie with the the same card set. Very simple right? So I checked each of my Axie for fun. Then I got a great shock!
*Disclaimer: I am talking about Relative Rarity. The Axies I own are not limited. The kind of Axies I own can be bred by others so the more Axies with same card set, the less rare it becomes.*

## <center>Common As It Could Be: Professor Beech</center>

Now let us talk about my most expensive purchase yet the most common among my team. My plant tank Axie, **Professor Beach**! I have named him this way since I was reminded of Pokemon’s Professor Oak + Beech horn part. I bought this Axie for a whopping 0.3 ETH. Yes, I was too rash but it is what it is. As you can see, this Axie is as common as it can get! There are over **12 thousand Axies** with the same card set! Wow that is a lot! This means that this build is widely used and stable to purchase if the player has PVP in mind. Though I may have lucked out in buying the Axie when it was overpriced, I do know that it will serve me for a very long time.
Aside from that there are plenty of Axies with the same class and card set which are in the floor price of 200$. Talk about cheap! If you wish to join Axie Infinity, I suggest to start now! FLOOR PRICES! But for now, time to move on our next Axie!

## <center>It’s Actually Rare?!: Mr. Suave</center>

This one is my Axie that I thought would be common as well But to my surprise, it seems that there are less than 30 with the same class and skills. This made this Axie, **Rare**. In my opinion, the mouth part **Catfish** made this Axie less desirable to breed. People want **Tiny Turtle: Chomp** to be paired with the other skills to be more powerful in Arena. Which led to the Rare status! As you can see, I named the this reptile Axie as “Mr. Suave”. The mustache in the Catfish mouth is so distinct and eye-catching. The first thing that popped in my head was, “This gentleman is so SUAVE”. So I named him that way! I have been using this Axie for a month now, and boy I am quite surprised with how useful Catfish has been! Though Catfish may not be as powerful as Tiny Turtle(stun debuff); the healing capability of Catfish have saved me countless of times!
Now let us move on to the last one. Because **I SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST**!

## <center>ONLY TWO EXIST: Nobita</center>

Tada! I named this reptile Axie as Nobita! When I was younger, I loved watching Doraemon. With this clue you might have guessed where the name came from, right? I used the name due to the eyes and the mouth. Very comical looking and weak, that is why I was reminded of NOBITA.
So how did I find out about its rarity? While I was searching for an Axie which can be bred with the same card set, I noticed that nothing appeared at all! I thought my internet was being choppy or slow once again(always slow) so I tried refreshing again. But nothing happened! So I changed the filter “FOR SALE” to “ALL”. To my surprise there was only TWO! There was only Nobita and another cute axie! I was puzzled then something clicked in my mind!

Yes , I was being stupid at this time lol. After thinking for a few more minutes, it came to my mind that I have already filtered it to “ALL”. So I decided to check it’s rarity. Despite being excited, I calmed myself while looking for the tool. I have once seen a tweet which showed the rarity so I expected that google can find it right away. Then I found it! There are only 2 with the same card set! The Axie may not be the best in PVP but there are ONLY 2 OF THIS AXIE(currently)! At the same time there are still no other Axies with the same card set after a month! I hope this stay Unique for a few more years! Sadly, this might be temporary, but who cares! I am just happy to have a SUPER RARE Axie at this current time! The Axie Pricing Calculator is a very powerful tool! It would be nice if the developers were to add a mint number to each Axie with the same card set! This will ensure that even Common Axie with lower mint number could have a higher value. I wonder if they will apply this if I tweet about this? Anyway, I hope that my readers would also check the rarity of their own Axies, who knows, you might also have a Super Rare Axie right now. Do share in the comment what rarity of Axies you have!
Also while writing this article, I decided to check the rarity of Reptile Terminator Axies(Lagging, Tiny Turtle, Snail Shell, Thorny Caterpillar). Without surprise, this Meta composition is as common as it can get! 113 thousand Reptile Terminators! This build is even more popular than most tanks! Those with Gravel Ant card must be raking them SLP!
