Damn.  My sighting wasn't nearly as dramatic. It happened  30 years ago and I'd estimate the distance was under 3mi and the shape was a classic flying saucer that seemed to be doing some sort of evasive maneuvers... It actually moved at a right angle at a very high rate of speed. No sound. And it was too fast to be a helicopter...  I always thought is was some kind of top secret military hardware ...  Watched it for less than two minutes before it disappeared over the mountain only to reappear a short time later and then quickly shooting up, up and away........

Seen some other strange sightings over the years, but nothing hair raising; just enough to make me believe there is probably something out there...
