Song of he day: Symphony No. 7 in A Major by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) ❤️ (EN/PT)
Beethoven started this work in 1811, while he was in the spa town of Teplice in Bohemia in the hope of recovering his health. The Symphony No. 7 is dedicated to Count Moritz von Fries, was completed in 1812, and narrowed in Vienna on December 8, 1813.

In four movements, the first of them "Poco sostenuto - Vivace", begins with a long introduction, followed by the triumphant Vivace in sonata form. The second movement, "Allegretto", with a slower tempo compared to the others, is also the most famous piece of this symphony, a theme of double variations. In which two melodies are superimposed and varied in different instrumentations.

"Presto - Assai meno presto" is a Scherzo (I mean joke), here he makes an expansion of the ternary form A-B-A, to A-B-A-B-A. Something common in other works by Beethoven of this period, such as the third movements of his 4th, 6th symphony, and his String Quartet Op. 59 n2. Here, section B takes on a darker color in contrast to A, especially in its second and varied repetition.

The fourth and last movement "Allegro con brio" was written in sonata as well as the first, but without the slow introduction. It is of great rhythmic and melodic contrast, in which the main theme contains a variation of another of his works, "Save me from the Grave and Wise n.8" from the collection "Twelve Irish Folk Songs, WoO 154."

This is one of my favorite orchestral works, just like Richard Wagner in his book "The Art-Work of the Future and Other Works", it can be said that this is a piece in which “Melody and Harmony come together around the forts Bones of Rhythm "
