[Maya](https://www.mayaprotocol.com/) has been aiming to be a fair protocol and for that reason we have the **Liquidity Auction** currently going on. Where the **Maya's Fair Launch** today surpassed collecting $5+ Million via the liquidity auction. And we still have 8 days remaining before the auction ends.

Here is the break-up of the asset amount collected in there percentage numbers. $RUNE is taking the lead with 50% of liquidity auction has come via $RUNE and on second we have $BTC taking the lead with 30% collection in the form of $BTC. There was limit set for the liquidity auction that needed to accumulate $5+ Million funds and if incase these funds are not collected or the LA is deemed disadvantageous for any reason. Then the community can decide to undo everything via [Ragnarok](https://docs.thorchain.org/how-it-works/governance#emergency-changes). Incase **Ragnarok** was to happen then - Tier 2 and 3 LPs might end up receiving back less and would be at a loss. Now that the funds collected is more than $5+ Million - with 8 more days to go its now certain that  **Maya Launch** is Inevitable. The Maya community expectation now is that we could see the auction amount being collected could surpass even $10+ Million. But then time is going to tell how this churns out.

There is tool build on [streamlit.app](https://fiftysats-mayatracker-mayaroi-t11etw.streamlit.app/), which helps investors to calculate their returns. In my case, I have invested $BTC and that too at Tier 3 level. This tier has a lock in period of 30 days, withdrawal limit is 4.5% and auction rewards earning is close to 1.3x. At this level where liquidity auction has collected $5+ Mill and $CACAO price being somewhere close to $0.05+ cents - would give me a return of 33+%. Not a bad deal at all considering all goes well till the end and there is no rug pull. And if the protocol is able to collect more then the returns further increases. Lets' see how much more funds can be collected in another 8 days - can Maya's Fair Launch - Liquidity Auction surpass 20+ Million?
