Today's era is a time when the technology of AI and robotics is evolving rapidly, and developments are fast in this field. We cannot neglect it as these technologies become part of our lives. They make our lives easier and support us in our daily routines. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, as per Newton's third law of motion, and I believe this is not only applicable in the physical realm but also in other areas. If I apply the same logic to technology, it means that if it provides benefits, it also has negative effects. The developments in these areas are so fast that I doubt that sooner, technology will replace humans, and most of the work will be performed by AI and robots. On one side, it looks amazing, and we do not have to work, but on the other side, this also takes away the jobs of many people.

There is always a concern about whether robots will take over mankind. If you look into the evolution of robot technology, then I observed that the basic models, which were driven by basic logic and programs (without AI), did not have any such capabilities. They were designed to perform operations as per logical instructions; they do not make decisions; they were just operating machines. For example, a robotic arm in an assembly line of any industry is performing a certain task and nothing else we can expect from it. Now, look at the cleaning robot at home. I consider it more harmful than the industrial robotic arm as it has some part of artificial intelligence. It has the capability of making decisions at some level and performing tasks. 

I do not have any issue until the time a robot is bound by the Three Laws of Robotics: 

> - A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
> - A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
> - A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law. 

Now the question is, who wrote those laws? Of course, humans only; robots do not have the capability. If humans wrote these laws, then there is a big chance that someone can also break them. If it happens, then this will be a big problem. 

We have already witnessed many incidents recently where people were scammed by using AI. That is the reason I fear that the combination of AI and robots may lead to a disaster. The major difference between a robot with AI and a human being is feelings and emotions. Those two characteristics are missing in artificial intelligence.

We all humans have different natures, and for some people, the development in robotics and AI may be the future and helpful, but in others' opinions, it may be dangerous. It's not possible to control thinking and change nature. Rules and laws do not matter to people with wrong intentions. Development keeping in mind ethics is a positive development, which in my opinion is very difficult or I will say impossible.
