Hi!! This is my first post, and I'm going to tell you how to make the best homemade popcorn, ever! It's so easy and my family can't get enough of it!! Here's how you do it!

It's simple, all you need is a pot with a lid. Mine is 6 1/2 QT and  anodized aluminum.
3 T coconut oil 
1/2 cup popcorn kernels (Orville Redenbaucher is non-gmo)
Seasoning salt, I use lawrey's

First, you heat the oil over high heat and then pour in the popcorn, cover with lid.  Shake it around while it builds up steam so the kernels don't burn and wait for the first pop! Keep shaking as it pops until the popping starts to decrease. Pull the pan from the heat, but leave the lid on until the popping stops. Season to taste, and there you have it!! 

This method of cooking popcorn is preferable to me because there are no chemicals and you can control the ingredients. Also, you can use different oils and salts. Try  cooking in bacon grease, or use a chili lime seasoning to give it a little kick!!
