Power SEO Strategy For LeoFinance: Automated Optimized Backlinks

## I Automate 80 Backlinks Every Time I post To My Feed

First off I use the UMAC principle I learned a few years ago.

This stands for:

**U - URL**

Make sure the URL has the keyword you are trying to rank.

For example I would create a Web 2.0 site that would fire every time my [Leo Finance feed posts something](https://leofinance.io/@hankanon/feed) on it.

**M - Meta Data**

Meta data is the description that shows on the search result. Make sure your keyword is written out and it does not have to be an exact match. 

**A - Anchor Text**

This is definitely not as important as it once was and more generic terms look more natural. Use of generic anchor text looks much more natural for example; "get more info here" and "check out our site"

**C - Content**

Content is key so you only want to be posting content to your feed that already has good SEO.

## Good Example Of A Post With Good SEO

This post is by [@bitcoinflood](https://leofinance.io/@bitcoinflood) a good example for the phrase [SEO for Leo Finance marketing](https://leofinance.io/@bitcoinflood/my-leofinance-marketing) and I would share this to my feed and have a free website made on Wordpress or what ever free Web 2.0 website will allow me to automate posts through an RSS feed.

What makes it so good is its UMAC

I echo *hitmeasap*'s cautious sentiment.

So it just creates shell profiles and automates sharing (read: duplicating) your content, to gain low quality links.

It would look trash and is certainly not what the modern Google SEO algo claims to assign value to.

Imo, when you're ready to implement a proper white-hat link building strategy, you can do better.

Okay, first of all, I don't mean to disrespect the author or anything like that. This might be an awesome service, because those actually exist.

However, I haven't looked into all the details yet, but my biggest concern is that toxic backlinks may not only harm your rank, but could also lead to penalties from search engines. *(Toxic backlinks are literally the first thing that comes to mind when I read this)*

That being said, I don't know if these are toxic backlinks or not, but if we look at Google and their  [link schemes guide](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/guidelines/link-schemes?hl=en&visit_id=637861571347369745-14860643&rd=1) we can find this:

> *Any links intended to manipulate PageRank or a site's ranking in Google search results may be considered part of a link scheme and a violation of Google’s Webmaster Guidelines. This includes any behavior that manipulates links to your site or outgoing links from your site.*

Toxic backlinks commonly display signs of low quality or an attempt to manipulate rankings such as:

> - Coming from sites that have been set up only for the purpose of linking out.
> - Coming from sites and content which aren't topically relevant.
> - Coming from sites that aren't indexed by Google.

This one might sound good at first glance, but it also seems to fall under the "toxic backlinks" category.

I will have to look at the details before I can give you my honest answer, but one have to remember, when things sound too good to be true, they usually are.

Thanks for your perspective! I definitely value it and your take makes a lot of sense. It’s all about the value of the sites linking back to us.

This brings up two completely separate things for me which is:
1. More press releases from companies like cointelegraph. High quality (but expensive) backlinks. 
2. Any sort of IFTTT that the community members and authors could come up with that might generate value. Something like what’s described above but in a high quality format

Maybe you have some ideas on either of these too could be the subject of a post!
