I'm glad to hear that you've done your homework on how media affects self-image, and that you're working on your self confidence.

In my experience that little inner voice that tells you that you need to be or look a certain way never goes away, but it does get quieter over time, and eventually it'll just be a quiet whisper that you won't need to acknowledge because you'll be comfortable in your own skin.
