Finally Got A New Car!

Hey Steemers!

Just an update in life! Hope all of you are doing well! So, the last two weeks I've been car searching. Almost hopeless it's so expensive. You really just have to get over it. Haha. I finally did.
#### Why I Needed A New Car: 
The reason I've embarked on this journey is that on my way to Ft. Lauderdale airport (when going to Vegas) my 97 Jeep Wrangler decided to blow its engine. Yeahhhh... Not so fun. I made it to my friends driveway though. Well... We made it to the flight on time. I figured that I would just deal with the Jeep after the trip. Had to rent a car to get back home. Me and my dad then towed it from *The Auto Spot*, the place where I had it towed. They checked it out for free and said I needed a new engine ($ 3800). Not Quite True!!! Brought it to my mechanic and he is now in the process of fixing it for $1000. He is putting in a new head gasket with the timing chain that broke on the way up since it was cracked. This car has needed repair once every 3 months on average for about 300 each time for the last 5 years. I need to get some money out of it, so I am fixing it to sell it for 4k about.
#### The Car Search:
This was not too much fun, but it's done! Went to Fucillo Kia first... No luck there. They were trying to rip me off on a Jeep Liberty with 80k miles on it. I went to Toyota and they were very accomodating, but making the final sale was dreadful. Taking an extremely long time (my decision making as well).
#### The Car:

It's a great looking car with standard features, but I know it will last me for a long time and will save me some gas money as well. Without having to pour money into the Jeep I can probably get a better savings going! Anyways, here it is! Paid for the GAP insurance and the extended warranty. Totaled about 15 k and yes, I financed, with $3100 down.

Hit this on the way home from work yesterday. Haha. Gotta love a 10 minute wait. At least I had AC for the first time in 10 years. Yeah... I know! Awesome.

Very nice! I know you'll enjoy it and having AC! When a friend gets a new car it's hard to choose whether to say congrats or sorry because of the payment you're now incurring (my truck payment is more than my 2nd mortgage lol) but in this case I will say congrats because this will give you peace of mind. You won't be dreading taking long trips because you know you'll make it wherever you need to go :P Now all that's missing is a big ass Steemit logo haha

Seriously... The payment is like 230 a month. Kind of sucks, but I'll pay it off way early to save myself from the interest. Love the f****** AC!!!!

That's the way to do it. I've always paid extra on the principle each month for my cars and house. It can really cut it down, like surprisingly so. LOL yeah AC is a must this close to the equator.
