And this is what makes teaching worth while - that one child you reach.... what a beautiful testament this is.

Interesting and inspiring! It almost seems like rather than having difficulties focusing, Ted’s differences lead him to be hyper focused as he only processes a single task or stream of information at a time. I’ve seen so many articles alluding to research on how our culture of multi tasking actually makes us less productive and perform worse. I hope Ted finds ways to bend the world to his strengths and accomplishes all his goals, one task at a time!

 So true man, there are always people who would love to have what we take for granted and we need to also show up every day and do the damn things we need to and stop sulking about having these privileges

You have a good and kind heart for helping such children with disabilities or should I put it "Different Abilities."

Thank you for writing this. It's very inspiring, especially for those of us who do not have daily interaction with your students. Everyone has a lot to add, even if society does not judge them according to its typical standards. 

I hope you don't think I'm hijacking your post by putting this here, but before I began reading it, your title made me think of Ted Talks. So here's a modest contribution.

I’m encouraged by your writing, no matter how real the situation might look, I really  need to get up, dust myself, and move on, sometimes even not having people behind me on steem gets frustrating, no one read, comment and upvote my articles, but should I stop? No, all I need is to continue showing up and making things better that they were!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I was a special father, my baby had a very compromised diagnosis. He is no longer with us, but he would continue to fight for my baby, they are angels who give us heaven to teach us something.

This is really inspiring and educating @hanshotfirst
I think this is my first visit to your blog, though, I can tell how impacting it's been.

From this blog I learnt that "I need to show up where my life can be impacted whether the moves within me approves or not".
