<div class ='text-justify'> *image editted on Adobe* We all know that why we work is to earn salary that will provide us with Financial Stability and also the ability to meet ones need but nowadays it's has become so rampant that salary earners are been lamenting and complaining that they can't meet there needs with the salary they earn. This has becomes so frequent in the community or I should say it that it's become so rampant in my country NIGERIA where salary is not even enough to have a good living talkless of surviving in a [financial](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-financial-services) challenges. This comes to my mind almost everyday but I feel maybe because I haven't secure one for myself but I feel so ashamed when my brother who is working and earn much salaries keep complaining before the middle of the month that there no [money](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-money) and not that he's joking or something else, I have access to all his [bank](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-bank) account and I believe him, so I tried to cross check how he spend his Salaries I sees that before the next ten days of collection of his salaries the money has been vanished and to survive will become so difficult. But what I realised is that one of the primary concerns regarding salaries is that struggles to keep up with the rising cost of living in the country. Because everything keep rising but the salary still be the same as it is when no rise in [cost](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-cost) of anything and salaries can just vover little when you have it and you feel ontop of the world when you just collect your salary but with just little time you sees that the lot of money you receive as salaries as been vanished and the next few weeks before the next salary is base on lamentations and suffering. When cost of living keep increasing and salaries remain static and no increment, individuals find it difficult to save up for future and give themselves a better financial survival and individual start living from [paycheck](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/paycheck) to paycheck and they won't be able to escape the cycle of Brokeness despite the fact that they're earning salaries. Salary becomes insufficient for individuals due to stagnant of wages and no matter what you [earn](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-earned-income) because there is no improvement in the minimum wages or lack of significant salary growth. Even who you think is earning big also lament when he have his salary and the [economy](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-economy) of the country also keep punishing the salary earners and this makes them find it difficult to meet there needs and even can't afford for emergency situation. The burden of [loans](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-loans) and debt for salary earners makes it so difficult for them to have a survival because they pay up debts and loans with what they earn as it comes in and they keep building and growing lot of debt and loans everytime to maintain there lifestyle. So the burdens of these cost of living often exceeds what salaries can bear, perpetuating the cycle of Brokeness. Salaries are now been a solution for just short term and mostly and likely living the individual vulnerable to financial hardships, when what they earn as salary which are meant to be a survival for individuals are not even enough to break the chain of Brokeness. Even with a reasonable salary amount when there is no good money management you will always find yourself in financial hardship and to survive with the salary become so difficult. And overspend without building a good [budget](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-budgeting) can also be a problem for any salary earners which may always find himself in the chain of Brokeness and to survive the financial crisis will be so hard. Thanks for stopping by my post and I will be glad to have more of your opinion, if there is any additional information. </div> Posted Using [LeoFinance Alpha](https://leofinance.io/@happy411/ask-leo-are-salaries-merely-sustaining-brokeness-instead-of-ensuring-survival)

It is essential that people educate themselves financially and look for ways to diversify their income and not rely solely on a salary, governments have arranged salaried jobs to have people in what we already know as the "rat race". But, and this is my personal opinion, many times, when people do not know how to invest or manage money well, those investments also become little hamsters that keep running in the wheel. It becomes a vicious circle, where you need money to invest, and you invest to generate money, and so on. The best way to improve financially is to educate ourselves about it, to be aware of our income and expenses, and to be aware of how we spend our money.

yes, you're right but when there is just little to pay bills you've owe before the salary how do we go about that, but educate ourselves about our income is more preferable but when we keep educating ourselves without little income how can we do that

Salary are not enough, it is a fact, inflation is a fact; and this affects us all. Looking for alternative income sources, such as cryptos for example, or a small business, are often the most logical solution. But once we have that extra income, educating ourselves about finances (at least the basics) and learning how to properly manage our money helps us stay afloat and be able to pay the bills.
