Today i read this *[post](https://steemit.com/steemit/@themarkymark/steemit-has-spoken)* by *@themarkymark* about the top five steemians with the highest reputation. Reading through the comments, there was a standing out comment by @bi5h0p saying :
>I guess that you could say @haejin is "5.9%" generous. On a scale of 1 -100, where most people give away a much higher percentage of upvotes, I think this situation is not good for SteemIt and not in the spirit of the platform. This level of self-interest is borderline narcissism.

Considering that haejin has fully exploited & leveraged just about every single thing on the SteemIt platform that he possibly can, I think it's safe to say that he's not a Whale - he is a megalodon.

So @haejin doesn't through around with upvotes outside his own posts a lot. But is this a bad thing?

An 100% upvote from him has a value of **68.48$**, which from a perspective of an plankton like mine is pretty awesome. 
This is changing my view on steem as a social network totally. I would like to make comparision to a *pay2win* game like *"clash of clans"*. Players who are willing to invest a lot of money into the game, have an easy way to access the top spots in the leaderboards. They can obtain higher levels of building way faster and to be more specific, can improve the resource generating mines to the top level even without waiting time. If you go the *"free2play"* way you will need way more time to generate the same success than whales. So haejin has surely invested a lot and now he harvisting the fruits.

With this perspective my new goal at this moment, is to reach more and more steem power. I set my goal to 100 steem power without investing in the next 3 months, to get the right feel of a *"free2play"* grinder, doing an extra mile to get the game on. There is no reason to blame @haejin for not sharing his upvotes with others in a more philanthrophic way, since i highly believe other steemians do it the same way, just not on that level. Just thinking about me having the same voting value, leads me to the conclusion that i would upvote myself everytime to. If we all are players in this game, not everyone can win, but everyone at least tries it.
