Next Level Ramen | Bacon Ramen

My kids love ramen.  And everybody loves bacon.  I had some hand cured, hand smoked bacon from a customer.  You can see that post here.

## For legit ramen its pretty easy to soup it up a little.  (pun intended)  
* Boil water as normal.
* For richer taste add a tablespoon of unsalted butter.
* Add seasoning as normal.  
* Chop fried bacon and add to broth.  
* Cook noodles for 3 mins as directed.  
* Garnish with cracked black pepper, bacon strips and a dash of soy sauce.  
(not too much or you will overdo the salt)
* Some chopped green onions would have put it over the top.  
(which I didn't have)

Kids loved it.  Way better than their normal ramen.  Not something I would make all the time but not too shabby.

Mmm.... bacon
And Mmm.... ramen
You can up it a notch,  dump the ramen in cold water after cooking to make it more al dante, drain,  before you pour freshly boiled water for the broth. Or,  have it dry by drain it,  putting it in a pan and stir with a bit of heat and a bit of sesame oil.
