 --- Recently my mind has felt like a browser with too many tabs open with all of them being important somehow, but the constant noise and flickering from each one makes it impossible to focus on any single thing as I just end up staring at the screen overwhelmed and feeling a bit lost. I think a lot of us are walking around in that state while We’re making decisions despite going through the motions, but we’re doing it through a kind of fog. We know something isn't quite right that we're out of sync with ourselves, but pinpointing exactly what that is feels like trying to grab smoke. For me this fog shows up as a low hum of anxiety It’s not about any one big thing but a general unease that colors everything around me as It makes small decisions feel heavy and saps the joy out of moments that should be simple. I start questioning my own path wondering if I’ve taken a wrong turn somewhere or if I’m even on a path at all. I realized this isn't just about being busy or tired It’s deeper than that It’s a disconnect between the life I’m living and the person I believe I am, or want to be The values I hold dear get quiet whispers in the daily storm of notifications with expectations and to-do lists. So I’ve been trying to find my way back to clarity And for me, that doesn’t look like a grand, dramatic gesture It looks like small quiet acts of reconnection. It also means turning off the phone for an hour and just sitting with my own thoughts as uncomfortable as that can be sometimes then asking myself hard questions without needing an immediate answer like What truly matters to me right now, in this season of my life? What am I tolerating that is draining my energy? Where does my peace come from? It’s in these quiet spaces that the fog begins to lift just a little Clarity slowly with unresolved answers as what I’m learning, isn’t a final destination i arrive at. It’s also not a switch you flip but It’s more like a daily practice of brushing away the cobwebs of choosing to listen to that inner voice over the outside noise. It’s about forgiving myself for the days the fog rolls back in and celebrating the small moments of clear sky.l, Those moments are everything are the compass that helps me find my way back to myself.
