As a user of steemit , you have a confusion between STEEM POWER and STEEM dollar.
So, in this article, I'm going to explain the differences between them briefly to give you better understanding.
LET'S START
Firstly, let me tell you how the earnings come from.
1- you post an article.
2- we vote up.
3- you get rewarded for our votes.
that's simply how it works. and later I'm going to teach you how the profits are calculated.

when you get rewarded for a post, your earnings are divided between STEEM POWER and STEEM DOLLARS 50% - 50%

So now what is the difference between both of them

**STEEM POWER: increases your share as a shareholder of steemit. It also gives you more voting influence. and and also gives you a virtual stake in the future growth of steemit and the steem economy.

*STEEM DOLLARS: are the currency of steemit which equals, 1 steem dollar = $1 value.

what can you do with steem dollars??
In fact, you have different options to do with steem dollars and they are as follow:

1- you can hold them as an investment and get 10% as return.
2- you can sell them.
3- you can transfer them into steem, Bitcoin or any other currency and cash it out.
