In this post, I give you an insight into my stock portfolio and the dividends paid to me by my companies last year.

# My share portfolio

First of all, let's talk about the stock portfolio. Last year was not an easy year for investors. As a result of the massive inflation that set in rather suddenly last year, the Fed, the ECB and other central banks raised key interest rates sharply. The energy crisis did the rest. 

Rising interest rates made loans more and more expensive for companies and as we all know after reading **[Kostolany's](https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andr%C3%A9_Kostolany)** work **["The Art of Thinking about Money"](https://www.amazon.de/Die-Kunst-%C3%BCber-Geld-nachzudenken/dp/3548375901/ref=asc_df_3548375901/?tag=googshopde-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=310810018277&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8639042808149552891&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9060722&hvtargid=pla-351512725129&psc=1&th=1&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=63316628378&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=310810018277&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8639042808149552891&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9060722&hvtargid=pla-351512725129)**, **money is the "oxygen of the stock market "**. Without cheap money through cheap credit, prices fall. I only really learned this lesson last year, although Kostolany's book was one of the first I read on the subject of the stock market. 

I can't yet see on **[Parqet](https://app.parqet.com/p/600d39a5f5f6710031dc3b37)** how my portfolio has developed in detail over the past year. **[But on request from me, the feature will be coming soon](https://twitter.com/Kaesetopf/status/1621091434953687040)** 😅.

At least I know where the portfolio was in February 2022 and where it was at the beginning of the year. In February 2022 my shares were still worth a nice €5800, whereas on 01/01/2013 they were only worth €2759. A drop of over 50%. And that despite the fact that I continued to buy shares. You have to cope with that first.

As a buy-and-hold investor, I don't just sell a share because its price is falling. I look at the company as a whole. I only sell if I am no longer convinced of the business model and do not see a positive long-term future for the company. Accordingly, **[Readly](https://www.google.com/finance/quote/5GS1:FRA)** should have been removed from the portfolio, but the position is now so small that it is not worth the fees to sell the shares yet. 😅

# 2023 starts well

However, 2023 then got off to a flying start. Practically from 0 to 100 in one month 💪. My portfolio has already risen by €773 this year through price gains alone. On top of that, I invested another €60 in January. So today my portfolio stands at €3593. As far as I'm concerned, the year can go on like this.

Since I started my traineeship, I have been taking €60 a month from my salary (around €1100) and investing it in shares. February's instalment is already ready on **[Trade Republic](https://i.gyazo.com/ab7edce0b825ddf28800a218dc1687b1.png)***, but I haven't found a share yet that I want to buy/re-buy right now.

60€ is of course not the world. But that's all I can afford at the moment. Costs have risen enormously since I started my traineeship and I also need to build up a cushion for other things, like my upcoming wedding. 

# Dividends

Let's move on to the topic of dividends. I don't want to deprive you of this sight, because in 2022 I again managed to receive more dividends than in the previous year. And that's despite the fact that my portfolio has plummeted so much.

So far, I have been able to increase from year to year. And dividend payments are not that important to me. With many companies, I'm happy to do without them. They should rather invest the money in growth. Only from companies like **[Coca Cola](https://www.coca-cola-deutschland.de/)** or **[Kraft Heinz](https://www.kraftheinzcompany.com/)** do I demand dividends, because these companies are already established worldwide and their business model is running so that it generates enough profit.

I am curious to see if I will get paid more dividends again in 2023 than the previous year. I think the chances of that are good. The deciding factor will be how **[Plus500](https://www.google.com/finance/quote/P55:FRA)** and **[Aurelius](https://www.google.com/finance/quote/AR4:ETR)** do. Those are my biggest dividend payers.

In diesem Beitrag gebe ich euch einen Einblick in mein Aktiendepot und die Dividenden, die mir im letzten Jahr von meinen Unternehmen ausgezahlt wurden.

# Mein Aktiendepot

Zuerst einmal zum Depot. Das letzte Jahr war kein einfaches Jahr für Investoren. Infolge der massiven Inflation, die letztes Jahr ziemlich plötzlich eingesetzt hat haben die FED, die EZB und andere Notenbanken die Leitzinsen stark erhöht. Die Energiekriese tat ihr Übriges.

Ohne günstiges Geld durch günstige Kredite fallen die Kurse. Diese Lektion habe ich im letzten Jahr erst richtig gelernt, obwohl das Buch von Kostolany eines der ersten war, das ich zum Thema Börse gelesen habe. 

Wie sich mein Depot im letzten Jahr im einzelnen entwickelt hat, kann ich mir auf **[Parqet](https://app.parqet.com/p/600d39a5f5f6710031dc3b37)** noch nicht anzeigen lassen. **[Aber auf Nachfrage von mir, wird das Feature bald kommen](https://twitter.com/Kaesetopf/status/1621091434953687040)** 😅.

Immerhin weiß ich, wo das Depot im Februar 2022 stand und wo es am Anfang des Jahres stand. Im Februar 2022 waren meine Aktien noch schöne 5800 € wert, während sie am 01.01.23 nur noch 2759 € wert waren. Ein Rückgang von über 50%. Und das obwohl ich weiter Aktien gekauft habe. Das muss man erstmal verkraften.

Als Buy&Hold Investor verkaufe ich eine Aktie aber nicht nur, weil ihr Kurs fällt. Ich schaue mir die Unternehmen im Ganzen an. Verkauft wird nur, wenn ich von dem Geschäftsmodell nicht mehr überzeugt bin und langfristig keine positive Zukunft für das Unternehmen sehe. Demzufolge hätte [Readly](https://www.google.com/finance/quote/5GS1:FRA)** eigentlich aus dem Depot fliegen müssen, aber die Position ist inzwischen so klein, dass es die Gebühren nicht wert ist, die Anteile noch abzustoßen. 😅

# 2023 fängt gut an

Das Jahr 2023 hat dann jedoch einen fulminanten Start hingelegt. Praktisch von 0 auf 100 in einem Monat 💪. Um 773€ ist mein Depot in diesem Jahr schon alleine durch Kursgewinne gestiegen. Dazu kommen nochmal 60 € die ich im Januar investiert habe. Somit liegt mein Depot heute bei 3593€. Von mir aus kann das Jahr so weiterlaufen.

Seitdem ich mein Referendariat begonnen habe, zwacke ich monatlich 60 € von meinem Gehalt (Rund 1100€) ab und investiere es in Aktien. Die Rate von Februar liegt schon auf **[Trade Republic](https://i.gyazo.com/ab7edce0b825ddf28800a218dc1687b1.png)*** bereit, aber ich habe noch keine Aktie gefunden, die ich gerade kaufen/nachkaufen möchte.

60€ sind natürlich nicht die Welt. Aber mehr kann ich mir aktuell nicht leisten. Die Kosten sind seit Anfang des Referendariat enorm gestiegen und ich muss mich auch noch für andere Dinge, wie meine anstehende Hochzeit, ein Polster aufbauen. 

# Dividenden

Kommen wir zum Thema Dividenden. Diesen Anblick möchte ich euch nicht vorenthalten, denn im Jahr 2022 habe ich es wieder geschafft mehr Dividenden als im Vorjahr zu erhalten. Und das obwohl mein Depot so abgesackt ist.

Ich konnte mich bisher von Jahr zu steigern. Und dabei sind mir Dividendenzahlungen gar nicht so wichtig. Bei vielen Unternehmen verzichte ich gerne darauf. Die sollen das Geld lieber in Wachstum investieren. Nur von Unternehmen wie **[Coca Cola](https://www.coca-cola-deutschland.de/)** oder **[Kraft Heinz](https://www.kraftheinzcompany.com/)** fordere ich Dividenden ein, da sich diese Firmen bereits weltweit etabliert haben und ihr Geschäftsmodell läuft, sodass es genügend Gewinn abwirft.

Ich bin gespannt, ob ich auch im Jahr 2023 wieder mehr Dividenden ausgezahlt bekomme, als im Vorjahr. Ich denke die Chancen dafür stehen gut. Entscheiden wird sein, wie sich **[Plus500](https://www.google.com/finance/quote/P55:FRA)** und **[Aurelius](https://www.google.com/finance/quote/AR4:ETR)** schlagen. Das sind meine größten Dividendenzahler.
