Hello steemians ,Happy sunday to you all . Let's all try to go to our various place of worship and thank the lord for he has been faithhful. Today i will be writing on a topic related with how we give, this is very important, the way and manner in which we give unto the most high God is very important. Most christians are guilty of giving wholeheartedly despite all the things our father in heaven has done for us all, we will be taking a look at the world today and how some people fail to appreciate God .The book of 2 corinthians 9:7 says:

>We should all give what we have decided in our heart to give, not under compulsion or reluctantly, for God loves and cherish a cheerful giver.

## Society and giving 

Most times i ponder upon some questions asking myself that do some people really know that they are alive because of God? This question always give me concern because you see people behave in different ways which one cannot explain. I understand that some people are passing through hard and difficult times but this does not stop you from giving unto God your creator ,Job in the bible passed through hell and still he did not give up .Do you know when you praise Go with all your mind you have given unto him?? God said we should rejoice in all situations, God does not need your money to survive but you have to appreciate him by sowing in the life of others indirectly you are giving God. We breathe everyday without paying a dime ,most of us go to the toilet with ease without paying anything and when they say give unto the lord we will all fin it difficult .But then when we fall ill you think you will be treated for free at the hospital?? You will even be told which amount of money to bring to ill you?? Did God ask you for any amount specifically? You know within you what you can afford to give God so please do it ,When you go to some hospitals and see how people are struggling to breathe and also to pass out urine then you will know our lord is good. Sometimes in the church you see a full flesh grown man giving 10 naira to God then i think within me no matter the situation this person is passing through he can do better, Giving God that type of reward you should not expect something big back and let's do the maths we have 4 sunday in a month and when you go to church only and sunday's and you give God 10 naira each sunday at the end of the month you have given God 40 naira . Money that you cannot even spend in a day, you spend way more than that but you give God so little. If you are reading this message today and you know that for sure you are guilty of these things please turn a new leave.

## Bible  passage on giving(cain and abel)

*This story is a very popular one in the bible and you can find the story in Genesis 4:1-16 , The bible tells us about two brothers named cain and abel the children of the first man and woman on earth, it was recorded in the bible that cain was a farmer and his brother abel was a shepherd. And this two brothers decided to make a sacrifice unto the lord, it was said that abel gave wholeheartedly and the lord accepted his sacrifice but his brother did not give GOd with all his heart and so God did not accept his sacrifice. The bible told us that cain was jealous and he went ahead to kill his own brother but God did not allow cain go unpunished.*

## In conclusion /lesson learnt

I am sure most of us would have picked out one or two lessons from this word today but the major one is giving with all our heart and not grudgingly ,When we give our heavenly father is also there to reward us back you don't need to worry about giving to the most high God. My brothers and sisters give with all your heart today and see what the lord will do in your lifes.
