En el ejercicio de la práctica fotográfica es posible quedarse estancado en los mismos resultados, confundiendo el estilo desarrollado con el confort. Podemos descubrir que lo que hemos venido haciendo esta muy bien, nos agrada y todas las fotos conservan un factor común. Esto es perfecto, todo artista debe buscar su identidad para destacarse del resto, sin embargo, lo preocupante es cuando no avanzamos y nos quedamos en las mismas composiciones, los mismos ángulos, entre otros aspectos.

Es interesante haber creado un estilo para algún tema en específico, pero aplicar lo mismo para todo puede ser un poco pesado. Considero debemos ir mas allá en todo momento, esforzar nuestro talento y buscar nuevas cosas: Atrevernos a lo diferente. De alguna u otra manera, en lo personal, en una época me planteaba retos fotográfico simplemente para estudiar técnicas y hacer cosas nuevas y así tratar de mantenerme inspirado. Con el tiempo me ha abrazado el confort, produciendo miedos para hacer cosas nuevas.

Fotografiar la rutina ha sido algo que me han recomendado desde hace mucho tiempo, me parecía un ejercicio para exponerme, complejo y a la vez aburrido, por lo que nunca me había atrevido sino hasta ahora. La idea de hacer una sería fuera de mi comodidad de verdad que inspira cuando se ven los resultados, atrapa la idea de ir más allá de la rutina misma, justamente la que estas fotografiando. Exponerse a nuevas cosas uno descubre nuevas cosas del trabajo propio, y en cierta medida se mejora, ampliando los gustos y atractivos. De esta manera, busco mantener el estímulo a través del ejercicio.

Luego de atreverme a realizar esta serie, empiezas a descubrir las bellezas dentro de lo cotidiano, y te empiezas a reflejar en ello, donde muchas imágenes se vuelven retratos. En tiempos pasados, pensar en lo cotidiano y ordinario como algo hermoso se me hacia muy complicado, pero este ejercicio me ha cambiado un poco ese detalle, valorando cada vez más mi rutina y mi vida misma. Este caso, a diferencias de otras series, no son un instrumento para recordar ni tampoco para retener en el tiempo momentos, son para adentrarnos en nuestro propio mundo, explorar nuestra rutina y cotidianidad. A través de ella estimulamos la mirada para estimular la creatividad y buscar nuevas cosas dentro del lenguaje visual.

Hacernos consientes de las formas, espacios y objetos, que quizás de tanto verlo pasan desapercibidos, se convierten y se transforman en el preludio de nuestra exploración personal, removiendo nuestro interno. Además, se avanza en la fotografía fotografiando, se aprende y nos obligamos a mirar el mundo con detalle, de manera distinta y con frecuencia. La fotografía se basa en eso: en crear hábitos visuales. Desarrollamos el músculo visual contemplando todo nuestro alrededor sin discriminación, sino siempre desde una nueva manera.

Por lo regular tomamos la fotografía como la idea de lo inmediato y espontáneo, sin embargo, desde el aprendizaje constante debemos aprender a elaborar nuestra propia reflexión visual, dando espacio a lo que se desea transmitir. Es importante cuestionarse para avanzar, evaluando nuestros hábitos, rutinas e inventiva, buscando la renovación constante y la revisión de nuestros conceptos fotográficos. La fotografía es arte y creatividad, y debemos ir siempre en pro de comprenderse a sí mismo para lograr avanzar en consonancia con nuestros pensamientos.
