**Introduction**
The crypto world is becoming bigger with more enthusiasts and users interacting with different chains more than ever before, it is also easy to own assets and coins. Crypto projects are building on chains based on what suits them, and this is one of the problems we have in the crypto space.

Let's say a user have an asset on the Ethereum blockchain and wants to exchange with another asset/coin on another let's say Binance Smart Chain (BSC), this is a difficult thing to do directly except the users decides to make use of a centralized exchange which will incur more cost than planned.

Cross-chain swaps are making this easier, as they enable trading of tokens across different blockchains without having the users to interact with an exchange service. With the help of cross-chain swaps, users have the option of switching their investment easily. Example is Bandot.

Since Bandot supports cross-chain token swap for different parachains, it will be easy to see more cross-chain Defi token liquidity coupled with amazingly convenient stablecoin lending. Bandot also allows users to borrow easily without any collateral as long as the borrowed amount is returned back to the fund pool.

**Conclusion**
With this partnership, I see a lot of benefits for Reef users as they will get more options of interacting with more cross-chain Defi token without having to worry about liquidity.

This is also a big one for Polkadot DeFi ecosystem, as more possibilities will be created. This creates more use case for the $REEF token, giving more reason to be bullish about the coin.
