<div class="text-justify">Seeing the topics from the #theweekend engagement post by @galenkp, I immediately knew it was time to share my story of b inspiration about the one person that inspires me the most. But for privacy sake, I won't be using her pictures therein.</div>

Tell us who it is, how they inspired you, what actions you took and how your life has been improved because of it.*

<div class="text-justify">You know, it's very funny how, as a woman who has reached reproductive age, and is not ready for marriage, your body starts acquiring negative symptoms to that effect. For instance, girls of 25 years of age in this contemporary society are victims of fibroid, ovarian cysts, pmdd, pcos, polycystic cancer, endometriosis even to stage four and so.</div>

An abnormal uterus occupied by fibroids


<div class="text-justify">Miss Akande Oyinkansola, was an unmarried lady in her late 20s who was diagnosed of a benign tumor in her uterus called "fibroid' alongside" endometriosis". It was a difficult moment for her after discovering that her period lasted longer than seven day with big clots to follow. The moment she had to go to classes as a postgraduate and endure the shame of been pale and blood stains all over her dress.</div>
<div class="text-justify">But despite this, she was strong and courageous and made it through school, despite the constant headbanging, uncomfortable sleeps and outings, expense to purchase multiple sanitary pads, the tiredness, fainting, depression and so on. She endured before she was ready to have children, had the surgery and immediately changed and effected necessary dieting to help the healing process and make her fertile for child bearing. </div>

**How she inspired me**
<div class="text-justify">Her courage to not let this situation affect her ability to fight through it as a woman, because all the society cares about is** "are you married now", "do you have children" "are you working now".**.. Under a situation where you you get sick every month and need a week or two to recuperate. Abdominal pains is nothing to joke with but we act as if nothing happen under the constant doses of ibuprofen or mefenamic acids. </div>

**ACTIONS TAKEN**
<div class="text-justify">Miss Oyin shared a number of tips that kept her going. </div>

- And somewhat applying this procedures have helped to manage symptoms and take one's mind off the situation (though it's not an easy task) it requires effort, determination and bravery and I have absorbed that.</div>
-  I don't care anymore what the society expects of me. I have a life to live and a body to protect. 
- I live on my on terms and do as I please.
- I trust in faith and God to carry on effectively and positively and everything will definitely fall in place.
