Today, I bring you in the Pointe Saint Charles district in Montreal to discover this building which has high quality letterings on each wall. In this first part (tomorrow the other wall), we walk along Saint Patrick Street in the parking lot of a fitness club with, among others, letterings of Montreal Street Art legends, [**Scan**](https://www.instagram.com/mrcan_do/) and [**Stare**](https://www.instagram.com/___stare___/).

On Saint Patrick Street at CrossFit Wonderland in Montreal in the Pointe Saint Charles district, near the Port and the Lachine Canal, lots of railroads and warehouses perfect for Street Art but also there are some good restaurants and a microbrewery [4 Origins](https://4origines.com/).

No information on **Bacer** but very nice lettering done in 2020. I had already saw one of his works, also in a wall full of letterings on Port Royal street in the north of Montreal (see [**Street Art #451**](https://peakd.com/hive-184784/@heroldius/street-art-451-wall-port-royal-montreal)).

This part is older, I think the lettering was done in 2014 and the door you see on the right wasn't there. I don't know what artist is behind these letters. It looks a bit like [**Axe**](https://www.instagram.com/axelalime/) but hard to confirm.

Great lettering also done in 2014 by **Alexandre Veilleux** aka [**Alex Scaner**](https://www.instagram.com/mrcan_do/) aka **Scaner** aka **Scan**. He's a legend and pioneer of Montreal Street Art born in the early 80's in Montreal and died too soon in 2017 due to a nasty disease, liposarcoma... Also a regular in my Street Art series, [**Stare**](https://www.instagram.com/___stare___/) is a Montreal based artist who likes to innovate by changing each time his style. He started graffiti in 1996 as a writer because he's passionate about typography and calligraphy. He founded the **NME** (Nous Menaçons l' Ennemi) collective and is a good friend of **Scan**, they're often found together on different walls in Montreal.
