As predicted by people commenting on the film industry, the premiere of the latest part of Agent 007 has been postponed to next year. The next time we discuss the news, there will be other shifts, but I will post my comment on them today - it's a very bad decision on the part of movie corporations and sawing the branch where everyone is sitting. Profits from the pre-pandemic times will not be there for some time, unless a movie with superheroes would be released in cinemas, which would be broadcast longer than under normal conditions, then there is a chance, and the profits from VOD in life will not be so large. There is one reason - piracy. Why would a person pay $ 30-40 dollars to watch a movie when it will be available in the same quality from "alternative" sources? Normally, a man was motivated by this that if he did not go to the cinema, he would read spoilers everywhere for these 3-5 months about the film, and in such a situation, he would wait for pirates to hack streaming and release all versions on torrents, as it is with Netflix productions. Images with gigantic budgets simply won't pay off with digital distribution. It would be better for everyone to release the film to theaters and, say, after 3 months, if absolutely everyone who is interested has watched it, put it on streaming for $ 10-20. Such an amount is easier to swallow even for our Polish earnings.

[Witcher]
We got Geralt in his new leather armor and a summary of season 2 of the series. Some say the armor is too heavy etc. but in my opinion it's ok. the fact, I agree, is too heavy for Geralt to wear it all the time, because it would unnecessarily restrict his movements, but it will be useful in a fight with Leszy or another large creature that would pierce too easily through ordinary leather armor. Besides, Netflix has promised we will get something else today. I wonder what - teaser? Photos? Any other breaking-news? Maybe a trailer for this animated spin-off that was advertised as a cool show for brutal anime fans? :) If it's going to be something big, I'll write about it today!

[Tomb Raider]
Alicia Vikander ("Ex Machina", "The DanishGirl", "Jason Bourne") revealed that work on the sequel to the latest film adaptation of the popular game will start next year. The film was originally scheduled to hit theaters in March 2021, but the premiere was postponed for obvious reasons. The director is Ben Wheatley ("Free Fire", "High-Rise", "A Field in England"). I did not watch the previous part, I am not going to do this either, because I'm not a fan of the game. My last contact with her was the demo "The Last Revelation" and the only part that gave me any fun was the second.

[WarnerBros Adapts Black Comic]
Probably some people will have a lot of pain in their ass, and I'm glad. I have been saying for many years that since black people and white snowflakes are crying for little variety, they should take matters into their own hands. The plot concept that only people with black skin get super powers seems interesting. If the authors are imaginative enough, this could be one of the better and more intriguing super-hero movies out there. I am not ironically keeping my fingers crossed for the success of this project.

[The Gentelman]
A series is being created based on the movie "The Gentelman". Guy Ritchie is responsible for directing and writing. I am not a fan of his films. I liked King Arthur: Legend of the Sword and Sherlock Holmes, but on a 7/10 basis. Ie good, I liked it, but soon I won't be able to say too much about it, besides - "well, good movie, it was fun to watch". Japanese animation segment, we'll start with some new information from the anime "Army of the Dead". We will hear Joe Manganiello (would-be Deathstroke from "Justice League, part two"), Christian Slater ("Mr. Robot" - Pan Robot), Anya Chalotra ("Witcher" -Yennefer), Dave Bautist "Guardians of the Galaxy "- Drax). The series will focus on Origina Scott, played by Dave Bautista, and will be a prequel to the events of the film.
Zack Snyder will direct two episodes of the anime and for me that is the most interesting part of this news. I am curious how he will handle anime convention and whether there will be a big difference between him and Japanese directors. Meduzarts Animation Studio is responsible for the animation.
