# New NFT



Last week was a week in which I mainly felt bad about myself. A sinus infection and sinus infection is not very pleasant. It is fortunately not a serious problem, but you have to get through it. Fortunately, things are going a lot better now, and I'm slowly feeling 'old' again. Whatever the hell that might mean.

But even while I was sick, I didn't just hang out on the couch or lie in bed all day. That's not even possible. When I'm sick there is still a household that I have to try to keep in order as best I can. And of course I also have 3 dogs that keep asking for my attention, and deserve to get it. They have to get out anyway, and can't help it that I'm not completely fit at such a moment.

Now it was not so good in my head, but my hands worked fine. So even though my screen gave me a headache, and thinking was almost impossible, walking far was not a success either, but sitting or lying still all day ... that has never been a success for me. So even though I didn't feel fit, I did try to do some painting. That works relaxing for me, I don't have to think much. I don't need a PC screen for it and it passes the time. And with a painting you can create any atmosphere you want to see at that moment!

I long for spring. Winter should leave the country as soon as possible, I've had it with the cold, the heavy rain, the often gray cloudy skies. Now that the days are starting to get noticeably longer again, and I even see a sporadic Daffodil in bloom, the longing for spring has completely erupted in me. So it was time for me to capture a spring scene on the canvas myself. If nature still doesn't want to meet me, I'll make it myself. And since @stickupboys and @raymondspeaks keep telling me that I should NFT my paintings ... I give it a go again. 

While painting I was wondering what birds actually feel when the cold winter has finally left the country after a cold winter. And then the following story came to mind;

# A little Story
*On a beautiful spring day, a bird perched on a garden gate.
The sun was shining and the temperature was perfect. The bird was
so glad it spread its wings and stretched out in the sun.
Enjoying the warm feeling on his feathers. It looked around
and saw the beauty of the new spring. All around the fence
red and orange tulips bloomed, and the little bird was delighted with the
to colour.*

*The little bird couldn't help but feel so free and happy,
like it was finally back in its natural habitat after a
long, cold winter. It darted back and forth on the gate and began
softly singing and whistling, taking in its surroundings.*

*The tulips danced and rippled softly in the gentle breeze, and the little bird
watched them, delighted with the movement and the colours. It felt
so lively and full of energy, as if it could handle and experience everything.
It had so many dreams and desires, and it couldn't wait to make them come true.*

*As the sun slowly set, the sky turned pink and orange, and the
little bird felt like it was in a fairytale. It was on the fence
to shine, filled with joy and gratitude for this wonderful day.
As it watched the sunset, it thought of all the adventures that followed
it was going to experience, the new places it was going to explore, and the
new friends it would make.*

*And when the sun finally set, the little bird sat still for a while,
enjoying the silence and the beauty of the night. But it knew that
many beautiful days would follow, full of colors, smells and adventures.
For this was only the beginning of spring!*

*There was so much more to experience!*

# Now let the real Spring begin.
What there is to experience then ... that is still written in the stars for the time being. But I am convinced that as soon as spring comes, I will know more about this. There must be some bird that will whisper it to me.

For the time being I can at least enjoy sunshine, although this includes cold temperatures. It is certainly better than gray days with a lot of rain. And it feels like I'm slowly waking up from my hibernation. Now just to get completely fit again, and then it will probably be ok as soon as spring is allowed to burst.
