Quick Escape from the City | Bayer's Cafe

*What could be more thrilling than taking a break in the middle of the week? You've read it right! We packed our bags and left our corporate life to stay away from the hustle and bustle of city life.*

On Wednesday, we went to Bayer's Cafe in Balamban, Cebu for a quick getaway. Known for its night life, Cebu also has hidden gems in the mountains with breathtaking views of the plains and valleys.

Everyone felt refreshed because we were surrounded with beautiful and colorful flowers. We were in awe of the landscape because everywhere you look, you see lush greenery. Across our place, the starkness of the fog gave a jarring contrast to the entire scenery. It looked like a painting! However, I was not able to take a photo of that because it was just too foggy.

On the bright side, I managed to capture a picture of the beautiful sunrise the next morning.

I was in a state of complete euphoria the entire time I was there. Aside from the picturesque surroundings, I was accompanied by some of my closest friends and this experience made it so memorable for me.

We had a lot of fun with the games we played and later that evening, we exchanged gifts. The night came to an end with a drinking session, where everyone just really had a great time drinking, singing, and laughing.
