<h2>Engagement Steady and Growing</h2>
Engagement and viewership are steady. No "big wins" per se but regularly hitting the 50-80 views-per-post range with a few posts poking at 100+, and 1-2 good comments per day on average. The comments are great to see because it reminds me *so much* of my early steem days. It's a few people, some friends and some new "fans" per se, who check in and leave a comment or two each week. This adds up to 1-2 per day of good comments.
If my Instagram reaches the point where my Steem account is today, with maybe 3-5 good comments on a lot of the posts, that'd be *badass*. Honestly I do not see many people getting 3-5 genuine comments, if you don't count all the emoji responses and stuff.
This is even better considering that I made a [big strategy shift](https://steemit.com/instagram/@heymattsokol/insta-quest-2018-trying-an-opposite-strategy-no-commenting) this week. It was maybe going to ruin my whole page, stop all the growth... but instead it seems to be working great. *phew*

<h2>Mental State and Emotional State</h2>
Feeling good. This is slow and steady but the same patterns from steem (in my early days here) are happening on Insta now. There was a great phrase I read the other day from Ryan Holiday's Perennial Seller: *"Compound interest for creative work." - that's what this is, sooo slow and humble until it compounds into amazingness.
If all goes well, I may integrate some more channels. Facebook and Twitter are on hold right now, so I might bring one of those back in 2-4 weeks with a "real" strategy. Time to go even more all-in on social??
If you know me well, you know this is only the beginning. Maybe the challenge of "go from 0 followers to a few thousand" is becoming a solved problem for me, and now I can move on to the next step: 10,000+ follower strategies. WHOA. We'll wait a few months before we go there.
