What’s going on Hive! I’m fairly new here and wanted to officially introduce myself to the community. My name is B. Trenton and I’m a singer/songwriter out of Atlanta, GA in the US. I've been around music pretty much all my life, my father use to sing and I recall going to his rehearsals as early as 4 which is where my appreciation for music started. Throughout my youth I grew up on mostly oldies from the 70's and 80's and started getting introduced to R&B and Hip Hop around middle school so my sound is a mixture of all those influences. The soul music from the 70's is by far my favorite era of music though.  I didn't grow a true love for creating music until adulthood. I've always been drawn to writing so I'd write out my thoughts with some of them turning into poems but I'd never had aspirations to put that to song. Eventually I just naturally wanted to make my own versions of the songs I was connecting to. I wrote my first song and the feedback was good so I kind of just kept at it.
