Everyday in the morning and afternoon, Ethan and I have walks around the neighborhood cos he needs it as he has extremely high amount of energy to burn. He's a golden retriever [I got just a week ago](https://peakd.com/hive-196708/@hiddenblade/i-got-a-golden-retriever-pupper) and the adjustment takes a lot of my energy and time for the past week.

Since we just implemented quarantine again because of increasing cases, kids aren't allowed to go in the park and outside anymore. So he can explore all he wants without being distracted by kids.

As a golden retriever, he always find something in the ground and put whatever in his mouth. It's just his instincts as goldens are bred for this purpose. His favorite thing to get seems to be small stones. He chews them and sometimes just really brings it while he walks and drops it whenever he sees something more interesting. I get worried too that he might swallow it so most of the time I just remove it from his mouth.

I don't know what exactly was that in his mouth but it's a piece of plastic he saw at the park. Yeah there were some trash there -_-. He pulls the leash especially when he really want to get something but next week he'll undergo a home service training so he won't do that anymore. :D

In the training, he will learn proper behavior so he won't just pull the leash and not listen to me. Potty training, basic obedience (commands), and good boi behavior (like not biting on literally anything) will be taught. It will be 4 times a week that will last for 2 months. Oh yah, I hired a trainer to do it instead of me learning how to. By the time I learn how to is probably the time he's already 1 year old lol.

While also passing by houses, we saw a lot of dogs and they all started barking at us. Most were common breeds like German Shepherd, Chow Chow, and some other ones I don't know the name of lol. 

It's a bit sad to see them inside the cage the whole day and just seem isolated inside the yard as they were aggressively barking at us even though we were just passing by. They were clearly not socialized properly and not even trained. It's sad to see they're getting a very intelligent dog and not training them to reach their full potential. It seemed to me that they were just there to either be guard dogs or a show-off of status (to see they can afford breed dogs). Not even mentioning they looked dirty and all. 

Ethan's reaction to the barking... he was just confused why they were aggressively shouting lol. Like *what the heck me just passing by*... Goldens are naturally very friendly and he just wants to be friends with them all so he just tried to ignore them while I pull him away from the barking dogs. 

The walks only last maximum of 20 minutes as he's just still a puppy.
