nice post @hilarski sir, i also saw today that @exyle also working on introducing a mobile app for steemit, with the induction of such app the more youth comes into to steemit and that's also a great sign. thanks for sharing

Looking at the graph you can see that it is going to go to the moon sooner or later.
I've seen some posts and graph indications that suggest if the coin is going down in a stair like fashion that it is going to boom anytime soon.

Hi Randy, I like the objectivity you display about steem and  that you don't blindly promote the platform or its currency. Refreshing here.
Also i saw you posted some of your holdings in a replay on a previous comment. What about investing in Bitquence. I love their product and their proof of stake with predictions is also very cool. I made a post about that some time ago as it really impressed me. In any case i digress, thanks for the objective posts. looking forward to the next one.

Communities will be the single biggest thing to take Steemit to the next level and I cant wait!

Taking my Bitcoin Cash and dumping it into Steem this weekend. I don't see BitcoinCash going anywhere.

I am able to see the value of steem but not in the short term. Like you; I will not blindly buy into dilusional optimism or an overhype. I like to do thorough research about a particular investment opportunity before making any such critical decision. Because I am able to see the current and future advantages of using the steemit platform; I am not skeptical for those who are constantly whether on optimism or careful research.

Regardless; it is difficult for me to convert any of the already-bought altcoins for steem. They too have promising longterm and shorterm benefits. What I plan to do though, is invest in steem from the % profit made by the other altcoins I have in possesion. 

Steemit has the potential to surpass Facebook; but not in the way people think. Instead of just a social network, Steemit is the bridge (still in construction); between the **Social** and **Cryptocurrency** world.  

I however fear that steemit may have just been an experiment as a much more improved social platform can be built on the **EOS** blockchain. However; the fact that many alternative and improved coins has surfaced to replace Bitcoins, yet it remains the leading and mist valuable cryptocurrency, is a bit comforting. A large part has to do with the amount already invested in Bitcoins and its already established popularity. Steemit's very nature being a social platform means the rise in awareness of steem as a cryptocurrency will surpass **Bitcoins** .

I think it might go down for awhile also, then it will go up.

That is a wise decision not to go aboard the hype-train. I see too many people either cheer the platform heavenly or complain a lot. I like to stay in the middle and keep critical, as I see both its  bad and good sides.

why power down?  i mean, the account is worth 17k
i would think that that is not really a huge amount of money for someone that has been in crypto as long as you have been...
and i can understand the need for liquidity but why not just take your earnings that you make from the posts and take those out while leaving your account to accumulate?
that is just the way i would do it anyway...
especially with the signs being everywhere that the whole market is going bearish...
might be wrong but appreciate the honesty and openness
at least you are not sneaking around

Yes, I'm ignoring all the FUD, and my SP will continue to be built.  Steem Power is one of many long term baskets for me, and I consider it part of my _retirement_ wealth!  There are "only" 300K users here for now.  Imagine what will happen once there are 3 million?  Then consider how many users FascistBook has.  What happens when even a small fraction of them switch?

P.S. What is your stance on CDX's initial offering in less than 12 hours?  I just listened to a @sgtreport video about it, and I'd be curious to get your far more knowledgeable opinion on it.

I'm also hoarding steem for the long term. The website is already growing as a blogging platform so it is inevitable that the exchange rate will skyrocket.

comparing with the current btc price some altcoins rise with it. like monero and dash, but steem still seems to lagging. but i took this one as something special rather than kick off and then falling down . Steem is steady with the current price and stable for a long time now. like ripple. i think that is sound for a long term stability. rather than dump and pump. 
I agree with your personal view. as bitcoin will sure passing 5000USD in short time. So I am positive with Steem.
