Today, I want to talk about the "**shiny new object syndrome**" and whether there are any exceptions to the advice of not jumping from program to program. While it is generally good advice to stick with your primary program, there is one important case where adding new programs to your portfolio can be beneficial - traffic generation.

When it comes to traffic programs, I would recommend adding programs to your portfolio whenever possible. Many of these programs allow you to join as a free member, which is always a good option. However, it is important to look for programs with a solid reputation. This can be based on their longevity or the established reputation of the program owner. Adding these programs to your portfolio, especially during special offers like Black Friday, can significantly enhance your traffic generating power.

## Safelists and Ad Sites That Offer Lifetime Deals ##

There are several well-known and established safelists that offer lifetime deals. Personally, I am a lifetime member of **Viral Mail Profits**, which has been a great purchase for me. I use it every day to generate leads for my sites. Sadly, the lifetime deal is not currently available, but if it ever reappears, then jump on it if you can afford it. 

Another program worth mentioning is **Website Traffic Rewards**, which currently offers a great "Lifetime Gold" deal. As a Gold member, you get rewarded with 20 cents every time you log in, which can quickly add up. (Free members earn 10 cents each day they log in.) That cash can be used to get extra traffic on the site, such as solo ads, mailing credits and so on.

**Herculist** is another program with an excellent gold lifetime offer that allows you to mail the whole list once an hour.

In addition to safelists, there are other programs such as **Leased Ad Space** and **Profit From Free Ads** that offer one-time purchases for different ad packages. 

With **Leased Ad Space**, I have gone all the way up to the top package, which gives me a monthly supply of banner and text credits. I have also integrated **Leased Ad Space** into **Traffic Zipper**, which automates my solo ad mailings. 

**Profit From Free Ads** has an affordable starting package, and as you buy bigger and bigger packages, the benefits and potential commissions increase.

Those are just some examples of ad sites that offer exceptional value for money. There are many others that I could mention, and no doubt even more that I don't know about.

Lifetime deals and one-time payment offers on ad sites are a great way for you to leverage your advertising power. I've been doing this for over ten years now, and can send out emails to thousands of biz-op seekers every single day.

## Stick With Your Primary Business, Join More Traffic Sites ##

To summarize, while it is not advisable to jump from program to program when it comes to your primary business, it is beneficial to add new programs to your portfolio for traffic generation. Make sure you choose programs with a solid reputation and consider taking advantage of special offers like lifetime deals. 

## A Word Of Caution ##

However, exercise caution when purchasing lifetime memberships, as it is important to ensure that the program has a reliable owner and a good reputation. When I was just getting started with this "lifetime deal" strategy, I made the mistake of buying lifetime deals for new sites with few members and program owners who gave up on their sites and shut them down. **I learnt the hard way that a "Lifetime" deal does not mean YOUR lifetime, but the lifetime of the program!**

## Primary Program + Evergreen Tools + Traffic = Potential Success! ##

Remember, building a successful online business relies on blogging and list building, so focus on those essential tools along with your primary program. For your primary program, go with something that you use and feel confident about promoting.

With that being said, only jump into new traffic programs when you can afford them. If you can't afford to upgrade, join at the free level and test them out so you can make an informed choice about which ones to upgrade in when you can afford to do so. And when purchasing lifetime deals, think how long the site has been around, how big the membership is, and whether the program has a reputable owner. With newly launched traffic sites, look at the owner's track record before jumping on any lifetime deals... but it you trust the owner, and can afford the deal - go for it! It's a great way to leverage your marketing power.
