HANDLING SOMETHING NEW AN EXPERIENCE I CANT FORGET

As I continue from my write up on the article Daktronics P2.0 Installation [decrypt](https://ecency.com/@hironakamura/blog).
After all brackets had been arranged on the fabricated mounting frame, I started the installation of the 600 x 600 modules which carrying out this task wasn’t that an easy one cause I had to battle with the sun. In the installation of these modules you have to use something like a magnetic mallet, what the magnetic does it attracts the modules for easy fix and removal  for ease  of maintenance.

So I was able to carrying out the installation of the 600 x 600 modules with each sitting on each other for support after I have completed this process. I started connecting the signal cables from each cabinet to another in a loop manner so the IN was going into a video processor machine and the OUT  was to be connected to a photo cell fabricated panel.

The main purpose of the photo cell  panel was to regulate the brightness during the day and night. After I was done with the signal connection , I moved on to the power each row was connected in a row was connected in a loop and the starting modules in reach column was connected to a power supply unit of 220V. Had to do a cross check on each connection to avoid a current bridge cause it will disastrous if the happens, every looked Ok so I completed the termination on the other of for the power supply unit and i energised the equipment.

At this point frustration started to set in because not all the modules displayed after the device was turned on, I had to start marking the defaulted modules for the ease of swapping them. I carried out this process which got some modules to respond the others which didn’t still come on I started troubleshooting the cause of the problem by dotting the T’s and crossing the I’s just to see if there anything I was missing, went as far as swapping the bracket chip which it’s called the A4’s chip to see if the issue was coming from there maybe the system didn’t send the signal correctly.

After I discovered this I had to start un-mounting the brackets from the fabricated frame in other for me to change the A4s chip card carried out this process for the affected modules after this was done I did a mini test on the ground before I moved them to remount them and reconnect the power, signal cables. 
Then power on the screen which all the modules were working.

# **CONFIGURING THE SYSTEM**
Configuration of the system wasn’t that hard all you have to do is the replicate the signal connections that you carried out on the modules to the software. I carried out the configuration of the system with a remote support help from the manufacturer, the software was able to tell me if there something wrong with the system the health of each modules and A4s chip in each of the modules.

They are several input to the system through the video processor device which the input function of the HDMI, VGA cables etc but the most common which is going to be used is the HDMI and the VGA cable and the system was configured to sense this inputs when they are connected.We built a cabinet for it too so it will look presentable.

I had to set some perimeters for the outdoor screen to function properly cause we are going to integrate the display screen with the LG IPTV solution so that the customer should also be able to watch matches and some cable channels
