As humans, we always think of having investments on daily basis. Anyone that exists without a visible investment is seen as an I'm a serious person.
In all, the most notable investment anyone can be proud of at any time is the one done in people's lives, there is no investment as precious as this. Why did I say so?
Even after someone is gone to the world beyond, the cars, houses, and lands one acquires can not and will never speak forth for him in fact, some people will drag for food on the day of the man's burial. And some will not wait for long before struggling to have that one house and land. From the setting I come from especially for the women, if she is unfortunate to find herself in a family where there are self-centered relatives, they will do their possible best to make sure they collect all their brother's belongings. Some will even go as far as pushing the woman out of her husband's house.
One thing will outlive and have a mouth to speak even when anyone is no more, that is the investment in people's life. When a man is picked from nothing to something after being brushed into the light it is very difficult for him to forget who helped him. There is a proverb our people normally say, "that cock cannot forget who pruned the feathers during the raining season", so also a man cannot forget the one that has brought him up in his low estate.
So many have the mind to help or invest in people's lives but we have reserved it for when everything works well. See this clearly, Rome was not built in a day, so to do so you have to start from the place you are now. Start giving it little by little. To make it easier, identify a person who maybe does not have school materials and make it a point of duty to supply the school materials every term. From then*, gradually you then migrate to paying school fees, and from there you go to two people and so on.
Before you know it, you grow to handle many people at a time. Providing help is not automated, it is a gradual process and should be taken the same.
As digital persons now in the social blockchain, the investment you can have now is to get someone who may be looking for a job and is ready to pay the sacrifice signed up, then coach him to stand. For me, I go as far as signing people up them provide them with data, then always doing a follow-up to make sure he or she is doing the right thing. Those that are so serious in no time do well. Some people do need not money, but a job that will help them assist themselves so giving such people money will not be a good idea at all as long as you have an Android phone, that is enough to start up.
Hope this will serve as a motivation to someone today. When we help one man and that one man helps another in no time the world will become a better place to stay.
