The joy of planning how our day will look like is that it helps us to be fulfilled at the end of the day, then when you make a plan it is also good to take stock of how it turned out. In this it will be easy to know those tasks that were accomplished, those that need to be revisited and the task that need to be suspended at list for the moment.

Yah!!! For me as a Mom I have learnt not to give myself so much task, I remember those old good days when I don't have anyone to tell me Mom am hungry I can take up so much and will even pay the sacrifice of staying awake late at night to make sure I get all the task down, now I don't have that much energy to run up and down most especially now that the kids depends mostly on me for almost everything.

#### My Outstanding Task In The Past 24 Hours

My weekend was a very busy one and was very long. It started around Tuesday, as we were planning to reach out to a nearby Community with our team, I had to do lots of preparation because that was the first time I will  joining the team since I got married, so I had to prepare the kids as we already arranged to take them to their grandparents place for the weekend. After the long weekend and activities that followed I had to plan in ***rest in my schedule***.

We got back to the base before it was 7:30AM then got settle, took breakfast and then headed to church for service. It was not so easy at all for both we parents and the kids. When we returned home we went straight to the bed to take some rest. This kind of stress does not go out at once. But that two hours sleep worth so much to me and thankfully the children also got to rest that made things much easier for all of us.

It is a day of rest for me so I was mindful that much things don't encroach into the day, when we got up from sleep I prepared a little meal for the family and then went back to rest. 

*Someone maybe asking why I had to take that long to rest*. On Saturday morning when I woke up from sleep I was faced with severe body pain to the point that I was not able to walk for a very far distance, but due to the village we found ourselves and there was no pharmacy around, I just had to manage myself. Now, while we made preparations to go I forgot to include some pain reliever to my list, so I was already thinking of taking a pain reliever when we return from the outreach and since I already treated myself of malaria no need of repeating that at least for now. You see why I needed to make rest a pirioty for the day. Thankfully I was okay when I was done resting

Rest is medicinal, a times we neglect the power of that five minutes nap, you may not know how far it will go relieving that stress you are feeling in your body. We tend to neglect the power of 15 Minutes rest. In this digital era that most people have more to do online than offline makes it look more complicated because some people can go 18 hours doing one thing online or the other. 

When we talk about rest it does not necessarily mean you should sleep, but when sleep comes that fine too. A time of rest is those moments when you take every distraction from around you. Resting is a medicine on its own. Resting also helps to build ones mental health. Some fellows run into mental stress because they have allowed their minds to always be occupied, the mind gets so noisy that at some point it gets so stressed out.

***Take this from me friends, rest is medicinal and it is good for everyone irrespective of the age limit***. My children most times they are stressed and need some rest they start to misbehave, at this point we can force them to go and take some rest or we ignore them but make it compulsory for them to be on the bed without responding to what they are doing, before long they get to sleep off.
