<div class'text-justify'> ***There is this popular saying that Tough situations don't last but Tough people do*** Happy weekend friends, I just pray Nigeria don't happen to you this weekend. For me it has been from one worrying situation to another. There are many things we don't have at our disposal as citizens of a country but the government fail to provide those social amenities and the little we are managing they want to sniff it off our hands. Yesterday while I was speaking with my younger brother he complained so much about the network failure which he discovered it was selective of sites. As a Computer Engineer he told we of how some sites can be blocked so people don't access. The worst of it is that the network provider are used to carry out most of this activities. My brother told me at the moment he is saving up to buy the Elon Musk network which can't be attacked by any system. The question is, how many Nigerians can afford to buy this gadget? Yesterday I was not able to properly channel my post because of the network failure, as if I should just start crying all along. But it's fine. Am just emotionally hurt Back to today's topic. A champion is made out of several challenges. A person becomes a champion when he is resilient and have a never giving up mindset. Trying and thing and it doesn't work means one should check to change the approach to it. You keep changing approach till you meet the one that will best suit the situation. At least at the end of time one would have learnt several ways of not doing a particular way. Anyone that gives up along the way cannot be celebrated. Just like in athletics, it is the person that gets to the finishing line first that wins the cup. Some times the mind becomes the limitation to success, what I mean by this is, a times ones mind tells him he can't make it or he is less off than another and when he keeps meditating on that, he will become it. During my final project in the university due to my love for human resource management I decided to do a research under that. In my school any topic you decide to go for have a lecturer with that specialty so you will will go under him to be supervised. My supervisor Mr Funsho is a man that will not give you less or more than what your efforts brings and when you are done with him you will surely testify that you did a project. Deby didn't have all those details, I was happy to work with him at first but as time progressed it was getting more difficult. It took me awhile to really understand that what he was looking for was quality of a work more than the quantity or something. From my undergrade days I learnt the importance of not coping people's work or even giving reference when I quote. He forced me to get references and all. When I went to the place of my case study, it was another hectic assignment for me but I was so dugged and stayed to the end. When I was done with the project it was simply powerful, you may ask how I got to know. I just knew and my supervisor testified to that. It took me sleepless night and lots of research and moments of staying without food. One lesson I learnt from that event is that I just have to believe in myself, put my best into whatever I want to do because hard work pays. Also I learnt how not to plagiarism or indulge in mindless liftings, people's efforts needs to be appreciated.
