LPUD: My First Powerup experience as a newbie

"You don't need to wait till you have a huge amount of money before you could begin a journey in #LEO" - these are the common words I do hear from huge investors and contributors in the #Leofinance community. Today is a remarkable day in this community where every crypto guru, enthusiast et al have been waiting. It is the #lpud.

I believe it is no longer news that I am a newbie in the crypto world, but that doesn't mean I should use that as an excuse in my ignorance to gain financial freedom.

On September when my journey in #leo community began, I had nothing in my wallet to begin my journey. This was the reason I missed the last LPUD. I made up my mind with lots of determination that I'll join the Leo power up day this October; the good news is that I have joined.

Now how did I join the lpud?
I earn my tokens from my posts I made in the community. Adding to that, I converted the little HBD I earned from making quality contents to Hive. It took me 3 days to have my value in Hive; surprisingly, today was the third day. From there I converted my Hive to swap.hive using https://bswap.cc/ in the Hive keychain platform.

Thereafter, I successfully converted my swap.hive to Leo. This then led me to my first stake in #leo token.

Honestly, this month is for me. I've been able to achieve one of my resolutions for this month. Not just achieving it, I've learnt how to carry out all these processes on my own through the newbies guide contents in this community.

So friends, I got tokens to power up today through my posts in the Leofinance community and by HBD conversion.

**What made me take this extra mile?**
It's because I believe in the project. The fundamentals behind the growth of this community gave rise to my trust for the #leo token.

To my friends in the Leo community, happy leo power up day.

After this post, one may ask what Leo Powerup day is all about. It is simple, the day is always set aside on the 15th of every month to power up our earnings in the #leo token which in a way signifies trust, belief and engaging a promising future in LEO.
