Is there a way out of this mess?

I guess there is a way out of any mess.
The question is how long or far is that way out?

# No Way Out, Yet

For as long as we have to pay taxes and also do what every institution is supposed to, there is no way out.
They create a forest guard of sorts, but the park never looked worse.
As long as visitors have to also do the cleaning, there is no way out.

Is there any institution in charge of taking care of these old abandoned houses? Hell, yeah. There are many institutions, but we are supposed to watch out for ourselves. If the damn house falls on our heads, no one will be responsible. We might have to demolish it ourselves. Probably that's what they mean by "participatory democracy."

Is there a way out of this technological backwardness? Definitely, but the longer it takes the darder it will be and the most profound th damage will be.
The gap that separates us from the first world only got wider. We are literally rusting away.

Is there any way out of this dumster of a country they have created?
Most likely there is, but as long as hunger reigns there will be more people digging deeper and getting farther from the way out.

Is there a way out of a society that forces a newly-painted cathedral to mar one of its walls with a sign reminding street squirters that they should not do it on the house of god?

Is there a way out of a society whose police officers are more dangerous than its criminals and whose streets have as many insane people as police officers?

How to get out of a society where you have to take care of yourself because the police, or any other institution in charge of that, could not care less about a crazy man stabbing people downtown, for instance.

He walks freely attacking whoever his fancy tells him is threatening him. He carries ice picks and sharpens them by the sidewalk while the police is busy blackmailing the big stores, getting anything from morning or afternoon coffee to merchandize or a few bucks in exchange for protection.

There got to be a way out, but it must be way too far yet.
