**I believe that blockchain technology is approaching a tipping point.**

It reminds me of an earlier time. 

In the 1960s, we had many different computer networks.

These networks did not talk to one another. 

It wasn't until 1982 that they started to talk. 

When we brought them together, we got something totally new: The Internet. 

 After pioneers lay the foundation for the web, there was an explosion of innovation, giving us all the services that we use today.

What set off this explosion?

 A Wide Area Network -  **a WAN.**  

This is what we are doing with [Wanchain](https://wanchain.org/).

We want to bring all the different blockchain networks together, making a new and vastly more powerful network.
 
We think this will trigger another explosion of innovation.

The future will bring us more and more interconnected devices that seamlessly transact cash, stocks bonds, Any kind of asset will all be tokenized on blockchains.

 All these different blockchains, public and private, will be connected.

 Wanchain is creating the infrastructure to make that a reality. 

The internet of value will be decentralized. It won't be owned by any single large entity.



It will be owned by all of us built by all of us.
 You won't need anybody's permission to build something new.
 Those who have previously been left behind will be included.

This future together, we believe, will be better than the past.

We are connecting and empowering communities.
 We are building the platform for the next wave of financial innovation.

After reading your article I just checked this project Wanchain . As their site says the ledger not only supports smart contracts, but also supports privacy protection. So it's a cool concept I must say.
