**3 weeks ago we started this project called the #HODL Community** aimed at creating a crypto-based community on Hive where we could share and interact:

### Our social impact on Hive

As a starting point, our goal is to generate revenues through curation and donations to help 5 selected content creators from emerging economies. 

**We will give 20 HBD to each of these 5 selected content creators.**

We would also like to state that @hodlcommunity curates outside of our community to find good articles and interact with fellow bloggers.

### 3 weeks later: What a journey it has been !

**We surpassed any previous goals we had !**

* More than **170 subscribers to our community**
* More than 27k HP delegated to our @hodlcommunity account (**we give back 90% of the daily curation rewards, one of the highest rate on Hive**)
* More than 100 followers
* The last but not least! Some of the greatest content creators out there ! @culgin, @f0x-society, @idiosyncratic1, @joetunex, @mistakili, @offgridlife, @paragism, @resiliencia, @tomoyan @inalittlewhile @criptoar, @coolguy123,@fun2learn...

We believe **Communities** are what can make HIVE go to the next level along with the HIVE DAO proposal system and the numerous talented developers that we have.

**In 3 days we will reward our first "selected HODL content writers" !**
