This kit is a safe way for kids 8 years old and older to learn about radio technology. No soldering is required and it only requires one 9-volt battery to operate. Once assembled the radio can receive commercial broadcast radio stations. It can't transmit but this kit might help to inspire future radio engineers to learn more so they can one day get an amateur radio license.

In my childhood I also had a building set for technology and learned from it. That's great, here you can build a real functional radio. This is very interesting and instructive for children. Very nice hunting, the AM/FM Radio Kit belongs in every nursery.

Tuning in to radio FM when bored and learning when to explore the technology makes this AM/FM radio kit a unique product. So far I had seen gadgets which have radio in it only but allowing users to explore technology is something unique and interesting. Nice hunt mate. Cheers.

We also have a radio kit here but about the FM one, it is so hard to find that kit because of high frequency/bandwidth. Most of the kits here are AM, but the latest or the commonly used are FM so it would be better to have the FM rather that AM. But the combination of two making it great.
