<h1>What made you come to the Hive blockchain?</h1>

For me, @holoz0r, I came to the Hive blockchain when I barely understood what it was. My friend @mattclarke told me it was a place that I could blog, share content, and get some cryptocurrency in exchange. 

I thought it was a good idea, because I have a creative background, and like sharing things with others. I never thought three years later that I'd still be here, and that the place would've grown in the way it has today, allowing many to forge real, meaningful relationships, and to entertain, occupy, and reward thousands of people around the world.

I came to Steem via DTube because I was looking for an alternative to YouTube. See, Google decided that there were going to demonetise my family-friendly channel. They still owe me $35 in adsense revenue.

I started getting hefty upvotes on DTube, so I decided to stay. Then either @mattclarke or yourself invited me to the Adelaide meet ups and I have been going ever since.

Most people see Steem as just another social media platform, but in many ways I see it as like a business. When I post, it becomes a link that I can share. I have a branding and a small following, etc. The SEO is better on Google than most sites.
