 [Source](https://blog.synthetix.io/optimistic-ethereum-l2-testnet/) 高昂的Gas Fee成為了用戶使用DeFi的一大障礙，而不少DeFi Projects像 Synthetix、Aave和Uniswap已經開始在採索Layer 2解決方案的可能性，包括使用一種叫OVM的技術。 Optimistic Rollup 是一種在 L2 上使用 OVM （Optimistic Virtual Machine）擴展以太坊通用智能合約的技術。OVM 的功能很齊全，可以與 EVM （Ethereum Virtual Machine）兼容執行環境，其主要用於第 2 層系統。它的外觀，感覺和行爲非常類似於以太坊主鏈。Optimistic Rollup 的構造大量借鑑了 Plasma 和 ZK-Rollup 設計。但某種程度的在擴展性上進行了權衡，以允許在受 Layer 1 保護的 Layer 2 中運行完全通用的智能合約。 反正看了也看不懂，總之就是超快，能達到幾千TPS的Layer 2擴容方案吧，那以後使用DeFi大概只需要用很少Gas Fee了。
