## **[Episode 4: Recap of the Prison Visit]()**
When I visited Tim in prison, I tipped the security guards by the gate to notify me the next time they saw Tom visiting Tim. I showed them my husband's picture since they are identical twins. Later that day, one security guard called to notify me about Tom's visit. I dropped everything and rushed to the police station. When I was close to the visitor's room, I saw Tim and Tom talking, but I couldn't hear their conversation. I tip-toed closer but missed a step and fell to the ground. I regained my consciousness and woke up to Tom and Tim standing side by side. Everyone seemed so happy and relaxed to see me. I was puzzled, lying on the bed, listening to the beep that was coming from a machine on my right-hand side. My throat felt dry and my head was heavy.

Finally, a doctor walked in and asked me my name and my husband's name but pointed at Tom. "I'm Attorney Debra, and that is Tom, my husband's twin brother. My husband is Tim, the one on the left."
The doctor smiled and seem impressed. My accurate answers were enough to prove to the doctor that I hadn't lost my memory. Oh! that's when I began to connect the dots. I started getting flashbacks when the doctor was explaining my current progress to my husband. From the flashbacks, I see myself and Tim visiting Tim's family old house. I had convinced him to finally renovate it and turn it into a guest house targeting hikers' clientele.
I see myself taking a walk in the backyard, where one can see a hiking trail. Just 200 m from our backyard, I noticed a vivid red magic mushroom, 🍄. I picked it up and smelt it, liking the earthy scent. As I returned to Tim, who was making a business call, he offered me my favorite snack, "the free-range beef biltong." I ate the biltong with my hands and took an old basket to go hunting for more mushrooms while snacking on my biltong. The next thing I remember is feeling dizzy and trying to walk back to Tim, but my knees were weak and I could see light being replaced by darkness.

## **[What led to my loss of consciousness]()**
Tim found me on the ground and rushed me to the hospital. The lab results showed that I had contaminated my biltong with the vivid red mushroom, which can be quite poisonous when ingested. The police took pictures to file an investigation into the mushroom incident. I have been in a coma for three months and two weeks after accidental poisoning. This mushroom is scientifically proven to have properties similar to hallucinogenic drugs (*fact*). Yes, it was all just a coma-hallucination, which somehow also helped to “jump-start” me back into consciousness when I fell onto the ground.
## **[Catching up with the reality]()**
I can now recognize faces, and Tom's fiancée, Bridget, walked into my hospital room with beautiful flowers. As for Tom, he was lucky to get out of his bad deeds before getting caught. He met Bridget, and they both clicked. She was a very popular detective in town. They have a nine-month-old son, and I remember Bridget asking me to be the godmother. What was more shocking to me is that I now have a three-month-old son, who was born three months ago when I went into a coma. I was eight months pregnant, and they were able to save my son when I went into a coma.
After four weeks of being discharged, I returned to work and I had to catch up on what I had been missing while in a comma. As I go through the list of new clients for our firm, I saw the Wilson family was one of the new members. At lunchtime, Tim passed by my office to check on me, and we strolled down to have lunch together just the two of us. At least not like in my coma where I had invited grandma and the grandson.

As we sat to order our food and drinks, Tim updated me about his company and the new manager he hired in IT. His name was Mr. Wilson, and he had a 16-month-old son. Realizing that the Wilsons' son, my son, and Tom's could be in the same age group brought flashbacks of the incident of the three boys by the stream that happened while I was in a coma. But at least in the real world, Mrs. Wilson was working as Tom's PA. Was I living Bridget's future in my coma? Did my coma make me a time traveler? Well, it was just a coma dream. Everyone seems happy, and I guess I shouldn't think too much.
After a few minutes, Bridget sent me a text. She was excited that her birthday was coming up next week, and Tom was taking her out to their favorite restaurant as usual. And I had to promise to help her choose a killer outfit for the occasion.
