Good day beautiful people with beautiful mind! 

I was totally out of circulation for the past two weeks in our HIVE community because of work commitment and deadlines. And oh, speaking of deadlines and piling paper works, sure does gave me a headache.  With the so unpredictable weather and steaming hot atmosphere, it added some stressful moment, thus, I decided to just get out for a while and spend a day at the local beach.

Arriving at the place, I was surprised that it was full packed, I really thought that I can have the place for myself since it is week days and people were at work.  Little did I know, that it will be way out of my expectations.. it seem people had read my mind, or it might be that our minds were kind of synchronized, what a day! I had a wistful thinking, that it could had been better if I just focus my eyes on a journey towards the mountain or even the country side.  But, what the heck! I’m here now so I guess, I need to be pro active about this situation.

I made my decision to stay and look around although I may not enjoy it being swallowed in a crowded place like this. My introvert nature wants to seize the moment. Looking around, I see lots of activities going on. It was just amazing to see people from all walks of life, being busy doing things to beat the heat, and using this time to just chill and be with their friends and family.  

The beach offers scenery that are full of humors and even drama, caught in the camera it could tell a thousand things, depending on how you fancy it.  A good example is an older brother with a rubber duckie on his shoulder, towing beside him his younger brother. A brother wanting his brother to enjoy the water, being responsible for his well being, a brother’s keeper, *that’s a drama!*

Another one, is a young girl chasing back her pet dog, wanting perhaps to let it splash on the water, but the four legged creature, does not want to cooperate, thus, a simple walk to the beach becomes a tug-o-war and a series of ***“catch me if you can game”***.  There’s also a boy trying to eke out a living among the beach goers selling his plastic toys, on his mind, the desire on how he can sell his wares and provide perhaps some money to buy food for their table, playtime is not on the top of his list for the day.

Along came a man tugging a bunch of colorful helium balloons, offering it to those interested to buy one. Life’s drama of a hard working father, who will do everything to provide for his beloved family.  Oh, such a commendable character. Moving on, I saw a young kids, making sandcastles, perhaps fantasizing that they’re the princes and princesses living on it. The young ‘un in a blue swimwear seems to be absorbed in what he is doing, like an engineer planning the dream construction he will be doing. He got that sense of achievement and pride in what he is doing, These kids were creating a world of their own, where they are the main characters and celebrating life as they saw it on their paradigm.

How I wish, I can be a kid, leaving behind the adult world for a while!  Such a wistful thoughts, but I guess, we all do, for deep inside, in each one of us, a child is there waiting to grow!  Here’s comes an acrobat! He was balancing himself on a dead branch bouncing up and down, showing no fear, just the exhilaration of the moment! Falling off the branch is far from his mind, surprisingly he gained his balance and enjoy his moment of victory!  Indeed, bigger risk, bigger gain, No risk, no gain! Life’s lesson on display!

To each, we see lifetime  in a different perspective, yet it’s not about how long we live it but on how we spend it. Being such a hopeless romantic, I see things in a different way, connecting it to what life is all about.  Extracting some wisdom from any given situations.  The day I spend in the beach was not wasted, I enjoy the comedy and drama around me, the story of humanity displayed, and most of all.  I am thankful having shared this story to you.  Let’s dare to make a difference in the lives of people around us.
