Surely each of us has a place to be born, grow up and return to. For a person's life, the homeland is something very sacred, noble and holds an important place in everyone's heart. That's where you were born crying, then grew up with a beautiful childhood, surrounded by the love of family, neighbors. Even if we go far in the future, Que Huong - two dear voices, every time we hear it, we can't help but be moved. 
And today, I will take you to visit my hometown, which is a place that surely you won't be able to miss because of its amazing yet idyllic scenery.

I was born and raised in a rural area in An Long village, Que Phong commune, Que Son district, Quang Nam province, Viet Nam. This place is about 65km south of Da Nang city and takes about 2 hours by motorbike. It is a hilly midland area. Sometimes there are a few narrow valleys under the foothills, forming small, beautiful fields.

My house is located on a hilltop, it is a position with panoramic views around, with soaring areca trees, green rice fields from sowing to turning yellow each season. When the rice is ripe, far away, the tall mountains stand tall and proud as if they completely protect this valley. Because this is a mountainous area, farming is mainly in the form of a ladder, with fields from low to high, creating a very beautiful scene. Most of the people here are engaged in agriculture, mainly growing crops. Rice is the main food crop, part of it is to provide food for daily meals, the rest will be sold as a secondary source of income. In addition, each year, they also plant 2 crops of cassava and potatoes alternately to earn extra income. The life of farming all year round is difficult because it is only associated with fields, upland fields, buffaloes, cows, or flocks of chickens and ducks.

Before, when I was a child when agriculture here was not mechanized, people used to say: "the buffalo goes first, the plow follows". That is, everything on the field depends on the buffalo. Before sowing, one must go through plowing and harrowing to make the soil loose, everything must depend on it, under the direction of humans. Today, with more developed technology, people have begun to apply mechanization, with the use of plows, harvesters, and rice threshers... Thanks to that, it helps farmers less hard. But the buffalo is still a valuable asset, it is like an important member of every family. And it is also a symbol associated with the Vietnamese village, which can never be replaced in the future.

But thanks to that, I was raised with a childhood full of beautiful memories, which I am sure, if I had to choose again, I would still choose to grow up in this beautiful countryside. My childhood was associated with games of hiding and seeking under the trees with friends of my age, or in the beds of straw during the rice harvest, associated with herding buffaloes and cows on green pastures every summer. My childhood was the mornings when I curled up in a blanket like a lazy cat, even though the rays of the morning sun had penetrated every crevice of the window frame, with the early morning rooster crowing to urge a new day, are the afternoons when hiding from parents and going to a neighbor's house to play, in the evening, I will be scolded or punished standing in a corner of the house, are folk games such as jumping rope, shooting marbles, spinning the shuttle... that are long stories I can't tell them all. That's everything for a country kid like me to go through that a kid born in the city can't have. And then I grew up with the support of my family without having to worry about anything…

Then, when I started growing up, I had to leave this beautiful hometown to go to a strange city to study, live and work in a university. And every free time, I want to return to my family with my father and mother, with the rice field right in front of the house, with the garden behind the house with many kinds of fruit trees that my father planted, with this peaceful countryside. To enjoy the best that life has to offer.

Coming to my hometown, you will be able to breathe the fresh, cool air every morning or evening, because around all the green trees, no dust, no noise. You can sit in a corner of the garden, overlooking the rice fields with white storks flying, sometimes the chirping birds sound, only people and clouds, trees, grass, a strange peaceful feeling, it seems. how much fatigue will immediately disappear, leaving peace in the soul? And the way to relieve the pressures of the hustle and bustle of life in the city, the pressure of work, I choose to return to my hometown, because there is always my family - support for me to overcome all.

Coming to my hometown, you will see the green rice plants when sowing until the tree grows, blooms, and ripens. Then the scene of harvesting when the rice is ripe, coming to dry the straw... You will encounter small canals to direct water to the fields, to the soaring rows of areca trees, the buffaloes, and cows grazing... Everything here converges enough for the countryside landscape of Vietnam, charming but loving.

Every time I go back to my hometown, I like to watch the sunset the most. The sight of the sun as red as a fireball, lighting up a corner of the sky, and gradually disappearing behind the mountain, was wonderful. And every time like that, I take pictures, to preserve all the scenes of this place.

Homeland - it is my childhood, a beautiful memory, the present, my life for the past 28 years. No matter where I am in the future, those are still invaluable values of my own, until now, and forever...
