 ###### After a record signing of £72m transfer from Lille to Arsenal last summer, Nicholas Pepe seems to be on a very slow adaptation mode as he is yet to score a goal in 6 matches. He was responsible for the Champions League qualification for Lille where he scored 22 goals in Ligue 1. ###### The 24-year-old Ivory Coast international was a hot chase by a number of leading European clubs in the summer, but ended up with Arsenal who are looking to get the best of him. So far, he has only showed he has what it takes but has never really been able to give what it takes to be that star player that was signed for that record sum. *** #### My Thoughts. ###### I think Pepe is a good player but right now, seeing him struggle is sad and that can really dampen his shine.
